We lucked into a campsite here for one night. The campsites are the most dispersed we have encountered in a park for quite some time. Our site was pretty level and had 50 amp electric and water. Covered concrete picnic table, fire ring and grill. Lots of pretty wildflowers in the grass. Very open area with few trees, a lake and it was quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We recommend this park.

While this CB has six or so pull-thru RV spots they were too short for our total truck and travel trailer length of 51’, so we stayed in the far back corner, with permission from CB. Nice level spot. It’s pretty close to I-10, so there was a bit of highway noise, but it did not bother us that much. This is dry camping, of course. We were there in early March 2018 and was the only RV in an empty rear parking area. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the CB restaurant. We recommend this place for an overnight.

My wife and I were on a month-long trip with our travel trailer to explore southern Arizona and up to Moab, UT to camp with one of our sons and his wife and stopped here our first night in Arizona. Indian Rocks is around 8-9 miles south of I-10 and Bowie, AZ. We arrived not long before sundown, so we were kind of in a hurry to find any spot and get set up for the night. As a result and because several other RVs were already set up, we did not get a real stellar campsite, but it was fine. The next morning I walked less than a quarter mile on up the dirt/gravel road and found two empty, absolutely awesome campsites. It figures. Ha Anyway, it was free and some really nice views out over the valley. It was quiet and the stars were pretty incredible that night (March 2018). We will definitely stop here again the next time we are passing through.

We stopped here for one night. It's a nice, roomy rest area, but of course was kind of noisy with all the semis coming and going. Since it had been a very long day and we were tired we slept okay, though. Hey, it's free, so can't complain. Our slot sloped a little bit from front to back, not not enough to bother anything.

We stayed here two nights. This is a small, 8 site, electric (20/30/50 amp) only, but has a dump and potable water place that is clean and very well kept. The owner was personally out walking the grounds picking up any small pieces of trash that had probably blown in this morning. I had a very nice chat with him yesterday evening. It is self-register and pay. Sites are long, level gravel with grass between. The owner states he is experimenting with trying to find trees that will grow in the soil composition. It is obvious he takes pride in his facility.

There is a gas/diesel station in front. There is a bit of road noise from I-90, but we did not find it problematic. One of the reviews I read about this place mentioned severe mosquitoes. We have not experienced any mosquitoes. The owner mentioned they were really bad last year because of all the rain, but it is much drier this year. This campground is eleven miles west of Wall, SD in the tiny town of Wasta, SD. The owner also has a military museum on site, but due to the virus it is closed this summer. He did upon learning I am a Vietnam Veteran offer to take me through it, but due to time considerations and some trailer stuff I needed to do I had to pass. He is a very nice guy. Decent Verizon and AT&T cell signals.

We highly recommend this campground if passing through and you want a clean, well-kept place to stay for a night or two.

We spent one night here after a lovely drive down 17 from I-10 at Balmorhea, TX through Fort Davis. Level, gravel pull-thru camp site toward the front. Yes, we drove down to the Marfa Lights viewing station a few miles south of down on 90. We saw lights, but are not convinced they were not vehicle lights on highway 67. You go and be the judge. Ha We had a good Mexican dinner at Mando's in town on US-90 and stopped again for breakfast burritos on our way out the next morning. Pretty good!

We spent one night. This is a pretty new campground and doesn’t yet show on satellite views, but it’s very nice. Level gravel sites with concrete patios, 20/30/50 amp power, picnic tables. Nice folks running it. Peaceful. In the middle of a pecan orchard, thus the name. Good gravel roads. About a mile from I-49, so no real highway noise. FHU. Lengthy sites. Not overly crowded. We highly recommend this campground.

We spent one night here while passing through the area. It is close to I-40, so there is a bit of road noise, but wasn’t bothersome. We got set up just before a thunderstorm and torrential rains hit and it was comforting to see the two new underground storm shelters even though we didn’t need them. Other than the storm we enjoyed our overnight here. It was peaceful and quiet. FHUs with 50 amp electric. In the wee hours our EMS shut power off to the trailer a few times for over voltage (>132 volts), but was okay after that. The owners are very nice folks and are working on several improvements. I could hear coyotes singing last night and earlier this morning. We recommend this campground if passing through.

We spent one night here. Nice level gravel campsite with electric and water. Pull-thru sites. We did not take the time to go into the cavern. They have a nice souvenir store with some really good homemade fudge. Quiet camping out in the country. It was not very crowded in March 2018. Several deer wandering around the place. We recommend this place.

We stayed here one night in April 2019 while returning home from a Western trip. There is still a lot of hurricane (Michael) cleanup going on on I-10 and the lady who checked us in said the campground was almost wiped out by the hurricane. They still had large piles of fallen trees bulldozed over to the side and out of the way, but actually the campground was in pretty good shape. This is the second time we overnighted here. The first was a couple of years ago. No, it’s not a scenic place, but it was quiet. The only complaint we have is we were in a new Montana fiver and even though there were plenty of empty campsites she stuck us right next to what appeared to be a long term camper with his junk, tools and equipment spread all over his campsite. Really trashy looking. The staff is friendly. We would stay here again.
