We spent one night here while traveling through the area. Arrived after hours and there were plenty of open sites. Called the office the next morning and paid. We were in area A and all the pads are asphalt with FHUs (only used 50 amp) with concrete patios, metal picnic tables, grills, lantern hook. Site 6 is not perfectly level, but not a problem. Beautiful place next to the lake. One thing I noticed that we’ve run into before at other places; several sites had reserved markers on them without any dates and were still empty the next morning. We recommend this campground. Very quiet all night. I rated Cleanliness a 2 because there was lots of small pieces of trash laying around our campsite that I picked up.

We spent two nights here. The have 21 electric only sites and we had one. The rest have no hookups. There is a dump and potable water station. Level site. Woodsy. Clean and neat. Staff was friendly, seemed to take pride in their park and did patrol. Quiet except for some road noise from the close by Glenn Highway and some airplane noise from the nearby joint Air Force/Army base, but not a lot. We would stay here again and recommend this campground. Convenient to Anchorage and just across the Glenn Highway from the must-see Alaska Native Heritage Center.

We took our two youngest grandsons here and had a great time. This place has friendly staff and they keep the place in beautiful condition. The sites are very spacious. Site 48 is a very good campsite and had plenty of room for our 35’ Montana fiver and truck. Nice level gravel site. It was a full hookup site, too. We saw a wild boar a couple of times. We definitely recommend this state park.

We really liked this campground in spite of the rainy weather while we were there. Our site was perfectly level side to side with a nice gravel base, new looking picnic table and a fire ring. Since it is Red Salmon season there were several fishermen camped around the campground, but we still had our pick of very nice sites. It was very quiet and peaceful. The iron ranger collects your fee. Good roads in the campground, but the road to it was a bit rough. We highly recommend this campground if you are prepared to dry camp.

My wife and I spent one night here on our way back home from New Orleans. The $9.50 was the Florida half price rate for us since we are Florida residents over 65. This is a nice quiet small campground. For some reason the ranger gave us a fully concrete handicap site, and it was a really nice pull-through. The site had water and good, clean electric per our EMS. We got there not long before dark, so did not get to see much of the park itself, but the campground was clean and neat and so was the bathhouse. The ranger and staff were very friendly and helpful. This campground is about 3 miles from I-10 (on the south side), so no traffic noise. Very woodsy. The approach into the campground has a short fairly steep climb. We recommend this campground.

We spent three nights here in April 2017 and positioned our travel trailer at an opening in the mangoes out to the water. The back of our trailer was about five feet from the water. The site was grass and dirt and not very level. Even though the campground was pretty much full it was quiet at night and mostly during the day, too. Of course the wind and weather (severe thunderstorm) may have had something to do with that. The campground has most of the campsites positioned on the water. There are also some campsites inside the loop, but there is a very large central grassy area. We had water and electric hookups, but to be honest I had read some reviews that said the water smelled pretty bad, so we only used our onboard water. I never did check their water for a bad smell, though. While we did not use their restroom/showers my wife did check one of them out and said that while it was a bit dated, it was clean. We did not have a boat, but some of those who did were parking them at their campsites. The campground seemed clean and well maintained. We were able to get a few OTA TV channels and that came in handy for checking on the severe weather. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here, in spite of some bad weather, and so did our dog.

We spent two nights here. The casino actually encourages RV'ers to camp free there and use it as a base for sightseeing in the Tucson area. They have small dumpsters scattered around the RV area and dump them frequently. Security and cleanup people frequently toured around the camping area for security and cleanup. There were lots and lots of RVs in the RV parking area. All paved. Nice and level. Actually very quiet, too. Of course we enjoyed the good buffet and my wife enjoyed the slots. We toured the Titan Missile Museum. This is well worth the price of the tour. It's not everyday you get to be up close in its underground lair with a huge missile that once held a 9 megaton warhead! We really enjoyed it. We also enjoyed visiting the Mission San Xavier Del Bac. This mission is stunningly beautiful! We recommend both these places as "must see" and we recommend the dry-camping at Casino Del Sol.

As a previous reviewer stated, the roads and most pads are gravel and could be dusty; however, it rained quite a bit during our stay, so dust was not a problem. We had lunch in the onsite restaurant one day and it was okay, but over priced in our opinion. The grounds seemed to be kept neat and clean. It was also mostly quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gated at night with codes to get in or out. Fairly easy to get downtown by driving, their shuttle, taxi or do what we did, use Uber. This was our first time using it and it's pretty good and beats the heck out of driving and parking downtown or the Quarter. We would stay here again and recommend it.

We spent a couple of nights here in March 2019 and enjoyed it. The old ruins are worth seeing and the park is just outside Winslow. Yep, we got our picture taken “standing on the corner” and a must see, 20 or so miles west on I-40, is Meteor Crater! Awesome! Our campsite was pretty level and we had electric and water hookups. There is a dump. The main roads in the park are very rough! The hosts were very nice and friendly. We recommend this park.

We spent three nights here the week before Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed it. Quiet and peaceful. Our site, 40, was the longest pull-thru site we have ever had and was quite large. It was a FHU premium site. The roads into and through the park were easy to negotiate with our 35’ fiver. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were lots of empty sites. There is a beautiful visitor center/store/interpretive center with a lovely sitting area behind it. It’s maybe 30 minutes to Tybee Island and even closer to Savannah. We look forward to going back.
