We overnighted here in a 40’ 5th wheel TH. The site was spacious and level. The owners John and Crystal, are the new owners and upgrading all areas of the park. While the park is just off the interstate, we did not notice it.
The frogs in the nearby pond provided the lullaby. There were more stars in the sky than I’ve seen in a long time! We didn’t use any of the facilities overnight but would highly recommend this park because of the friendliness and the wide open space!

This park is in the process of renovations. Perfect location. Beautiful grounds and scenery. Owners are very nice people. I would stay again and again! Watch your GPS. Ours took us on dirt roads when it didn’t have to. Approaching signage could be improved.

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet country setting, close to
I 40, very nice owners in the midst of reconstruction. The reconstruction in no way hindered our stay and we would stay again. Great potential! Wishing new owners lots of luck in their new endeavor.

Checked in about 4. It was hot and the AC was cranking. We met some fellow campers and shared a beer to beat the heat...but change was a’comin. A storm roared out of the west and rocked us pretty good. Lightning, hail, wind and a ton of rain. But it passed quickly, leaving a fantastic sunset in its wake. The campground is wide open, next to the wide open range with cattle grazing right next door. Spots are level, with full hook ups. If you’re heading east, drive an hour past Amarillo for a night on the prairie where the real Texas still lives on.

We stopped for a night on our way west. Easy to get to from I-40. Although close to the interstate it was quite. Sites are big rig friendly pull through and level.
As others mentioned the new owners are friendly and in the middle of remodeling and doing a great job.

Arrived at 4:30 pm, early November so there ended up being only 3 campers here. Welcomed with a smile and very easy sign-in; have a 30 ft Travel Trailer; easy to maneuver around (but then there was THREE of us here =] ). We had full hookup and VERY good wi-fi for $24. Laundry room with either 5 or 6 new washers and 2 or 3 older, large, commercial dryers. ?? cost, sorry. Brand new laundry tub but only cold water working; Steady freeway noise. It actually lulls me to sleep, but that's me. Some basic water, soda in the lobby. Aside from a place to throw horseshoes, there is absolutely nothing at this park. I see from some reviews in either April or July 2019 that the showers/restrooms "aren't done yet." Well, it's mid November and they are not ready to go yet. I would stay here again if we're not here to swim, dance, or whatever because it's a gravel lot with decent hookups, friendly managers, and the cost is right. It's worth the stop for a night or 2.

A fine spot for an overnight, with extremely long and wide sites (we could have easily fit a second 42-foot motorhome in our site). We were the only RV there the night we stayed in December. Owners were very friendly. A little but of highway noise but nothing bothersome. The only downside is that even though the park is next to the Interstate, it's on a service road between two exits, so you have to drive 2 miles along a very rough service road to get to the RV Park once exiting.

Camped in a 35” motorhome. We are self-contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities.
Pros –
- Very nice and helpful owners who take pride in their campground
- Quiet, pretty surroundings.
Cons –
- Not the campgrounds fault but the roads to and from the interstate are pretty rough.

We stayed there for one night, just passing through, but could of stayed longer. The sites are level!! The owners are nice and friendly. The road to the place is the last original Route 66 Highway and is a little rough but it is worth it. We ordered food from, Lumping Leprechaun, in town and it was delivered. Yelp has it at 5 stars and I would totally agree.
