Great staff led by Manager Vivian make this a welcoming place. We came for 2 nights and stayed a week. Despite being very full, Vivian managed to get us the extra days, even staying in the same space. The facilities are among the best we've seen anywhere and this is our third trip across the U.S. in the winter. We almost never see a heated pool and hot tub! And the weather is so good here in Casa Grande that we used them every day. Holidays here are special events with everyday perks like water aerobics and a very well set up common room. There are pool tables, TVs, books, puzzles and movies. We had one of the 4 pull through sites and they are all paved and flat with picnic tables. It is about 3 miles off Route 10 and very quiet. Most of the park is seasonal and we can certainly see why. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We'd spend the winter here too!

Our favorite RV park! We've crossed the country 3 times now and this remains the best. We stayed 3 nights the first time, 2 weeks the second and made reservations for 3 weeks before leaving there this year for next! Not mentioned in the other reviews is the social life - unparalleled at other places. There is a social director Kerri who is amazing. During our stay:: walks every morning, water aerobics twice a week, coffee & donuts, pot luck, live music, trip to see the dolphins, Bingo, card games and more. Holidays get big celebrations like Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's, Valentines etc. So much fun and my husband, who usually shuns these things, got into the swing. The area has biking, endless pristine white beaches, great restaurants and museums. Yes, the weather is cooler than central Florida. We were there in February - but the pool is well heated and the fire pit (no gas) with chairs around it, gathers folks in the evenings. It's very expensive but for us, well worth it.

This was our second visit to Big Bend National Park but this time we stayed right in the park. We had one night at Cottonwood Campground at the end of the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive. Then four nights at the Rio Grande Campground. Both campgrounds had no hookups but the sites were well spaced, level with grill and picnic tables. There is a sewar dump at Rio Grande and potable water. There are pit bathrooms but no showers. There are several APPS that check cancelations and notify you, so we got those spots just weeks before. Although there was no cell service, there was wifi at the Rio Grande Store and the Ranger Stations. The store had basic groceries and a laundry. Gas in the park is cheaper by a dollar than just outside the park. But fill up with gas before you start your journey there! We almost ran out as the distances between towns in this area are huge!
There is a campground at Rio Grande with hookups run by a private vendor but there was nothing available there. The sites there are on asphalt and tight together. We enjoyed the Boquillos Canyon trail, the Santa Elena trail, Dug out Wells, and the Rio Grande Village Nature Trail, They were all great!

We stayed in the campground and it was great. The sites are well spaced, only need a little leveling, and there is a nice clean bathroom. There are many trails of all kinds in the park, which has several waterfalls. The nearby Lodge is a full service hotel with a good restaurant and lovely views. We had an excellent dinner there. There is a "trading post" store as well near the main Blackwater Falls access. We stayed for two nights and loved it.

We stayed for two nights here and loved it. We can't say enough good things about the owners. They were very helpful and nice. The park is attractive with lots of trees and a variety of sites. We liked our #8 and #9 next to it near the office and rather private. #3 had a nice spot and they had sewer, as well as our electric/water. The laundry and bathrooms were very clean. It is only a few miles away from the Visitor's Center at New River National Park at the bridge. We would stay there again for sure. The National Park is long and thin and it takes a couple of days to really see it all, but it's great.

What a nice place! The staff couldn't be more helpful and nice. It's a pretty big place with a large assortment of pull through and back in spots. A mile from the lake, it's very busy on the weekends and holidays. There is a pool which opens Memorial Day weekend and a nice playground - and a pickle ball court! There is a store too. Otherwise it's a long way from a big town and eight miles from Route 64. All the sites are well spaced and level, gravel mostly. They have VIP sites with patios for $10 extra, regularly $50, less if you are Good Sam. The free WIFI is very good. We would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed one night here in April so we didn't have a chance to try the trails, although we did go down to see the lovely lake. The campsites are well spaced apart and the ones we saw were paved. They aren't all level however - many we saw were slanted down or up some. The bathrooms are very new, clean and spacious. There is at least one building on every loop. The hosts were very helpful, changing our reserved site to a better one and leading us to it. Great stop!

We just stayed here one night but it turned out to be a lucky move. The RV park is small and it's easy to miss the it's sign. It's in a nice quiet residential area near the small center of Shawnee. But when we backed into our site (tight but level and gravel and a staff member came to help), we discovered that our frig and freezer was broken. The office gave us several numbers to try and my husband talked to two knowledgeable people. They spent a lot of time on the phone and one was able to get the necessary part and come the next morning! That kind of service is hard to find! The store was able to provide ice to get through the night. Thanks, everyone.

This is an older KOA but with lots of trees and greenery. The staff are very nice. The sites are level and gravel but many are very close together. We didn't have anyone next to us for most of our stay, thank goodness. The one time someone came in late at night - we could have passed the Grey Poupon. Some of the picnic tables are ancient. But it's generally quiet and a fairly easy trip (20 minutes) to downtown. We enjoyed the Gateway Arch and the Budweiser Brewery "Experience".

This is easy access right off of Interstate 70. Watch for the small sign on right and turn left into what looks like a gas station at first but is a road leading down to the park. The sites were mostly drive through with picnic tables and the facilities good, staff nice. The free WIFI worked well too!
