This is like the worst super 8 hotel you've never stayed at. The ONLY thing going for it was that it did have hook ups and was fairly close to St Louis. The area was trucking companies and industrial. This KOA has a fenced junk yard in the back of the "campgrounds" and walking for exercise left a lot to be desired. Lot size tiny. Thank goodness it was a quick overnight stay!

Besides the races at night (they gave us earplugs) pretty quiet with an occasional train passing by. Sites are level gravel/dirt with that white powdery stuff on top. Not sure what it is but last two parks had it and it got everywhere. Laundry small but clean. St. Louis right across from us on other side of Mississippi River. Town with shopping maybe 15 minutes away. Nice fenced dog area. Pool closed for season but there was a bounce pillow and play area for kids. Wifi iffy at best. I managed to stay online with my tablet but laptop had a problem.

We’ve stayed at lots of KOAs this one was pretty off the mark. It’s right in the middle of a bunch of trucking companies & an amateur race track. The WiFi was non-existent, playground & pool mediocre.

This is not what I would call a typical KOA - they are usually somewhat nice and have friendly people! This has neither. Somewhat close to St Louis (25 min) and the Arch - got hit with thunderstorms and most of the site have huge puddles which make it hard to get hitched back up! WiFi - no / cable TV good / Verizon cell - good.

I was dreading staying here after reading reviews but everything else was booked. The campground is in a strange place (industrial area) but it was quiet here and just what we needed to visit St Louis. Took us about 20 minutes to get to the Arch. Didn't rain so not sure about water run off. Didn't hear any car racing because it was in October and I'm guessing only do it in the summer. Pretty much fenced in area so felt safe. Verizon great for us.

Industrial part of town, but never got a bad vibe, we felt safe. Sites were gravel as were all the roads. Staff very friendly. Very convenient to St.Louis attractions-Arch, brewery, some of Route 66. Wish signage was a little more prominent.
