What a great location for enjoying the arts! We stayed there for two nights and visited Tanglewood (summer home of the Boston Symphony), Jacob's Pillow (summer camp for professional dancers) and Mass MOCA (modern art museum). The sites were well spaced and there is a very nice pool. The campground is generally very shady and cool. There aren't a lot of RV spots for temporary visits, as many are seasonal. But there are a lot of good tenting sites generally available. Full hookups and nice staff. We'll be back!

This was a nice KOA with friendly staff. The sites were level and not too close together, although we are spoiled by staying in State Parks mostly. It is noisy as everyone notes and much further from Asheville than we expected. The pool was closed for the season. I did use the laundry and it was clean etc. but more expensive, slightly, than usual. Good one night stay.

We stayed here as a member of Harvest Hosts and opted for the free one night stay as part of that program so no utilities. Our campsite was up in the meadow near the large pond and SO beautiful. We bought a ribeye steak, bacon and eggs (all excellent but very expensive). This was one of the prettiest spots on our 4+ month trip. We highly recommend.

We didn't have time to visit the Museum but the Visitor's Center was so lovely and helpful. They spent quite a bit of time helping us plan our trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is also a charming town with restaurants and shops.

Unfortunately it was closed when we came by on April 22nd but there is a restaurant and motel there with plenty of parking. It's a beautiful spot, gorgeous views, store with wine/beer and some groceries. It opens a little later in May - looks great

We stayed there one night but really enjoyed it. Our site was gravel, pull through, and right on the river. There are benches along the shore where you can sit and watch the river traffic. That was easy from our picnic table as well. We were there in April so these sites were perfect, but if it was hot, you might prefer to be under some trees further back. It was an easy 15 minutes into Memphis with shopping nearby. The laundry was free (a first for us) but the water is only cold and we had to run the dryer twice to get our clothes dry - still we're not complaining! We would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful place, one of the nicest we've stayed at in our 4 months crisscrossing the country. The sites are well spaced, level with trees interspersed. There are views of the lake from all of them, but the ones directly on the shore are the best. We hiked several of the trails. They are well marked and lovely - do see the waterfall. It is farther out of Hot Springs than we'd expected, about a half-hour, so we planned to spend the whole day at the National Park, which is mostly in the city.

One of the nicest State Parks we've been in during our 5 months cross country. We stayed in Cottonwood Campground and it's very large and lovely. We were only one of two RVs there for the night on April 13 even though the weather was great (not warm though). There is a good 2 mile hike from the end of the campground down to the lake. We were in Site #! which is at the end of the pull through sites. Highly recommend.

This is a basic RV Park but the staff are very nice and the sites are on concrete and level with some space to put your chairs/table - no picnic table. You are very near the highway but the noise isn't too bad - you can't see the traffic. It is 7 miles from The Gathering Place which we planned to visit. There is a bathroom and laundry. The WIFI is better that most!

This is a pleasant RV Park. There are trees and picnic tables. There are back in and drive through sites, gravel and ours was very level. The staff were helpful and the bathrooms, laundry etc. were clean. There is a book swap in the laundry - always welcome and even an iron and ironing board. There is noise from the highway but it is mostly a steady drone and pretty quiet at night. It's 4 miles to the center city but Walmart, Home Depot and lots of restaurants nearby. We were there in a travel trailer of 24 feet - lots of room.
