We managed to get two nights here and would have liked to stay a little longer. It gets pretty crowded as they were limiting the number of campers due to COVID restrictions. It's a beautiful campground with no electricity/water but clean nice bathrooms/showers, although again limited. The sites were paved and level with a picnic table and some privacy. The Park itself is awesome with lots of roads through the desert and mountains and many trails. The Randers were very helpful making suggestions.

There are two Coyote Howls RV Parks - East and West. We stayed one night at the West location. The manager was very nice and helped us get settled. The sites are level and many are pull through, but not very long. Each had a picnic table and electric/water/sewer. There are no shower/laundry facilities at this location. They are at the East park and you can go over and use them, although it isn't close by. A basic place but not far from Organ Pipe Cactus Monument. We could only get two nights there so this gave us another night to enjoy the park - which was awesome.

We enjoyed our stay here and the petroglyphs and their history were very interesting. There are lots of informational signs and a on site host who was very helpful. This is a large area with lots of sites, pull through mostly and each has a fire ring and picnic table. You are out on the desert here, nothing for a long way around. It only costs $8 and you put it in an envelope so you need correct change. There are no facilities. It's about 15 minutes off the highway.

We spent two nights here and what a beautiful spot. The sites are well spaced and very different from each other. It's worth it to drive the loop and check them all out first before choosing. We did have to work on getting level. There are tons of hikes, really lovely and varied. It is a steep climb up but all paved. You are at 5,500 feet and our second morning we woke to snow, March 13th. It didn't last long. Highly recommend!

One of our favorite RV Parks so far. We stayed two nights. The hosts, Jim and Pepper are so nice and helpful. The facilities are clean and attractive. The sites are level and most come with a little patio as well as a picnic table. It isn't far off the highway but far enough so that we didn't hear the noise. The railroad is close enough to hear but faintly. It's set next to the Aztec hills, small really but a nice hike. Highly recommend!

We didn't stay here but instead went to the Oasis RV Park at Aztec Hills about 2 miles away. The reviews of Dateland RV we read on other sites were generally negative and when we drove through there it looked rather sparse with few RVs. The Oasis RV was excellent, further from the railroad and highway and very attractive with a great staff.

So don't come in here at night in the winter! We should have known better. It was so dark and hard to find our spot. And it was icy and muddy. But in other seasons, this would be lovely. It's right on the water with a small marina and beach.

As many of said, this is a very lovely and well organized RV park. We particularly loved the children's playground - very nice! It is the closest to Washington and even has a city Transit bus that stops there so you don't have to drive in. Our only note is that it is very near the highway, so not quiet.

We really enjoyed our time here in January 2021. The place is very clean and organized. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Our pull through site was easy to find and had a nice table & chairs. It was close enough to Wilmington and even had an on site cafe.

As others have said, it's close to the city and clean. In a time of COVID 19, they seemed to be following protocols to stay safe.
