Same price for full hookups ( which I thought I was getting). Site was back of the park where I had to pull my truck into the tree line to turn around. Not convenient. Then, I got a terrible view (see picture). For the money, way over priced.

Paid $44 per day. Did not accept any discount memberships. Visited in late November with no reservation. Half empty lot. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). We stayed in spot 87.
It's a flat, clean, well lit lot. HUGE playground that was just built last year for the kids right next to the RV lot. The power and water are conveniently located in a modern pedestal. The sewer is a little tricky to attach because you park on the asphalt and the sewer is up on the curbed island. So it takes a bit of work to get the required downward slope for gravity to do its job. Most people had something stacked on the asphalt to build up to the level of the curb. Each island has a large trash can.
No restaurants, grocery stores or gas stations right next door, but it's only a few minutes to a couple different strip malls. Seems like a very nice area.
Docked a star for a hidden phone reservation fee. Payment and arrival info was confusing because there wasn't a check-in desk so we arrived at the park and called them to see where we could park (half the lot was empty). They took our info and then said there was a $4 per day fee for booking over the phone. We asked if the fee applied to online orders and they said yes. But after checking the online reservation system, there is no fee. So save $4 per day by just booking online!

Nice campground that still has room to grow. Power and water is reliable and park has Suddenlink Cable 90+ channels and WiFi. Concrete pads are really close to level And owners are polite.

I entered the office to check in and was greeted with a piece of paper handed to me and said “these are the rules.” No “welcome,” or any other gesture of kindness.
I should have stayed elsewhere as I have a 42 foot fifth wheel. Extremely tight fit.
If you are a tent camper, this would be ideal for you.

We had truck problems and arrived after dark. They helped us get in our site with a flashlight. They even blocked off our site for another night in case we needed it to get our truck going. We didn’t, but it was thoughtful. It was a quiet and clean campground that we would stay at again.

This is the way a campground should be. Friendly hosts, small size , a variety of sites and lots of trees. We were in a 50 amp full hookup on a concrete pad. They also offer tent camping sites. The drive in is somewhat narrow, but shouldn't be a problem unless you meet another big rig going the other way. They have WIFI, but I used my hotspot instead. Because of the pandemic we were asked not to use the restrooms as we could use our onboard facilities. They were open for tenters or others that are not self contained.

We were in the area and wanted to check out the bridge. We decided to stay the night. Called on Thanksgiving morning and was about to get a spot within an hours notice. This was our very first “official campsite hookup” and couldn’t have been happier. They were very nice and walked us to the site and assisted with backing in. We’re very helpful. This is a exactly what I’d hope it would be. Loved that it’s a private family owned site.
This is minutes from the bridge visitor center, beauty mountain and so many other things in the area too.
We were very pleased.

This place is easy to get to and so close to alot of hiking around New River Gorge. The sites are a little close together but we didn’t mind at all. Staff is super friendly and the laundry room was very clean!

We called them at the very last minute and wanted 2 nights, full hook ups. They were able to accomidate us and even let us check in early. They just revamped their internet and my connectivity has been basically as fast as any internet I have ever had in my houses. I have been running zoom calls/kids have been doing online school...no issues at all! The campground has several great sites, site 17 is kind of in a group of 4 that face eachother and share "front yards"...not an ideal situation, but since we didn't book in advance, I really couldn't complain. They would be perfect if you were traveling as a group. Overall, great experience.

Camped in a 35” motorhome. We are self-contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities. Highly recommend and will stay again!
