Very clear beautiful lake; our site was in the B loop on bluff overlooking water through trees; large clean bathrooms; level site; table with shelter cover; very busy on the weekends but super quiet in the evenings. Signage in the park could be better as many drove in the wrong way. Despite the boat ramp there is no real boat trailer parking so you either park on the side of the road (which is limited) or bring it back to your site. But the lake itself is lovely - some of the clearest water we have seen.
A & D loops are closer to marina and don't offer as much privacy; B & C have more shade and B has a few sites overlooking the water - through the trees.

One of the prettiest parks we have stayed in to date. However, be aware when booking your site not to book a pull off site. I did that in error and ended up in a site right on the road. The pull offs are really meant for tent campers, not rvs. The fabulous camp hosts that were on duty saved us from several days of misery by putting us into the back in overflow site. Amazing views all around you and easy access to multiple trails. Bathrooms were kept clean and there was a dish washing station outside the bathroom It was pretty hot when we were there so we did our hiking early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the afternoon heat. Be aware that the park often closes for several hours during the day when it becomes too full. So even if you have a camping reservation you will not be able to get in. We ended up spending some time in downtown Moab before being able to get into the park later in the afternoon.

Pretty state park close to I-75 so quite convenient as a stopover. We stayed 2 nights on our way to the NE. The park is very large with a lot of greenspace and paved trails taking you along the water and in the woods. we also hiked up to Triple Falls which I'd recommend for the waterfalls and view from the top. I'd say the campground could use some TLC. Our space was steps from the water and while we fit just fine, the driver side door faces the water. We knew that when making the reservation, so we made it work but the sites are very close together. The campground was pretty quiet for a weekend, just some highway noise, but not too bad. Bathrooms are quite old with lots of spiders in evidence.

One of the prettiest places we have stayed. Our spot had great solar and a large living area. Yes, the bathrooms can certainly use updating. Close to town of Freeport, home of LL Bean. Went for lobsters at Harraseeket Lobster Hut, very good. Went for a hike at nearby Wolfs Neck State Park.
Very peaceful with gorgeous views.

Another lovey COE park. Large wooded sites with plenty of privacy. Quiet even on the weekend. No bathrooms in loop but vault toilets were clean. Not much going on aside from the lake but I can see it’s draw in the summertime. Some garbage around site but otherwise fairly clean.

Lovely little park off the beaten path. Very friendly and helpful staff in Visitor Center, which is also very nice. Level sites, clean bathrooms and easy lake access. Bring a kayak or boat or you can rent them from the park. Lots of fishing. Park ranger came through several times a day.
If you like BBQ, a visit to Jones Bar-B-Q in Marianna is a must. Louisiana Purchase State Park is also nearby.
Our site, while not directly on the water, had nice morning and afternoon shade. All sites had very large living areas.

We came in on Sunday of the Labor Day weekend and it was packed with 3-4 cars at each site. However our site was right on the water in CG 1 and was fairly level with lots of good shade. A lot of folks left on Monday so it quieted down a bit although boat traffic was still steady. Very popular spot for boats given the amazing boat ramp. We brought our mountain bike and hits the trails ( about 16 miles total) and after getting turned around a few times while ending up on the frisbee golf course we did find the Bartram trail which is a great mountain bike/ hiking trail that takes you all around the lake. However the trails haven’t been maintained in quite some time so there was a lot of dead trees we had to climb over with the bikes. We finally called it quits about 6 miles in but would love to come back when they are fully cleared.
We also took out kayak out on the lake and found a ton of cool coves to hang out. Lake access right from the site.
Weather was perfect, cooler with low humidity and a nice breeze, a welcome respite from Tallahassee.
We didn’t have time to hit the Disk Gold Hall of Fame but heard it’s pretty cool. Bathrooms were meh but that is the beauty of an RV, we have our own facilities. We will certainly be back again.
WiFi coverage wasn’t great but with our MoFi device we were able to stream Netfilx later in the evening.

Lovely state park along the Chattahoochee River. Plenty of space btwn sites makes all of them good for just about any rig. WIFI is non-existent except to text but that was fine with us. We’ll maintained and marked hiking trails. Clean bathrooms, level dump station.

Lovey park outside Independence. We stayed in the Sunset point loop which gave us gorgeous sunsets but warm afternoon sun. Worth it though since we could launch our kayak just a couple hundred feet away. Sites are close together but we had nobody on either side during the week. I’m sure it’s busy on weekends. The Prairie Meadow loop is lovely and if I were to return we might go there. Large shade trees and tons of green space.
Nice big boat launch area. Laundry house with two washers and dryers. Bathhouse is quite old and could use a good cleaning. WIFI was spotty but good enough for the basics, no streaming.
If you like ice cream, go to Braums in Independence, so yummy.
