We really enjoyed our stay here. Our site was in the Beech loop. Nice location with an open grassy area behind us. Big park with hiking trails, boat ramp and areas for biking. It was pretty busy while we were there but the park was very quiet. Highly recommend going to Cherry Springs State Park which is about 40 minutes away. It is one of the only dark sky parks in the country. Definitely worth a visit. The nearby town of Wellsboro has nice downtown area and farmers market. We also went to Colton Point State Park so we could hike the Turkey Trail down to the canyon floor. At the time the trail in Leonard Harrison SP was closed for repairs. Only word of caution is that some of the sites have difficult hookups that require extra long power cords and water hoses so be mindful when booking a site. Bathrooms were old but fairly clean. We didn’t use the showers or laundry.

Nice campground; C loop allowed generators so it was noisy at times but still a lovely spot. We backed up on to the river and had moose back there several nights. Bathrooms were kept fairly clean. Very nice camp hosts who were helpful with info. Good location to see town of Jackson, Jenny Lake and tons of nearby hiking. Rode our bikes on the bike trail up to Jenny Lake. I think the A loop has better spacing and views of the Teton range. D loop has electric and is generator free so that would cut down on noise.
