beautiful views of the La Sal Mountains and it’s close to many hiking trails. There are flush toilets, running water, picnic tables and grills. Some of the camp sites are nestled in the slickrock and others are out in the open with expansive views. Cell service is spotty so expect to be unplugged most of the time.
The campground is 18 miles inside the park so you are a good 30-45 minute drive from the town of Moab and any concessions. Plan wisely. This campground fills up fast and spots are reservation only from March through October. If you come after October be sure to get to the visitor center early and stand in line for a spot. The park will still be busy in November.
We had a drive through here. It looks absolutely amazing, you can camp almost camp within the red rocks.
