We had our first poopsy at this dump. The sewer hole is smaller than most other dumps, so don't open your valves all the way to start. We cleaned the area with a bucket of water since there is no hose at the dump.
Very small RV lot (maybe 8 spots total, 2 of which appear to be taken by someone living there full time) with minimal amenities. Water, power, sewer and trash is available but no restroom/shower facilities. The spots are extremely hard to get into and I wouldn't consider this big rig friendly at all. We had a 30' travel trailer and had to pull out on to the main two lane highway in order to back into our site. Thankfully two of the other sites were vacant, otherwise I'm not sure how we would have fit into our site. Also, it's a sandy lot so be prepared for a lot of dirt and be careful to not get stuck in the soft sand. We did like the proximity of water access and the availability of boat/trailer parking, however there were not enough boat slips for all guests. The staff was great and they are making upgrades to the property, so it sounds like next year it will be a much better experience.
Pros:
-Good rate
-Friendly and accommodating staff
-Water access
Cons:
-No bathrooms/showers
-Sandy sites (we had lots of rain so it made for a pretty muddy experience)
-Small RV lot/bad accessibility

We really enjoyed our stay here! It's brand new, great location, nice amenities and not very crowded at all. We are full timers working remotely from the road, so it was a bit of an inconvenience to not have cell phone service in the park and their wifi was not suitable for our needs. We went into the coffee shop in town for wifi which was only a few minute drive away. If they installed fiber here, I bet this place would be packed!

The location is great and the hosts are just wonderful. Terlingua is a pretty special place and we can't wait to come back. When we return, this is where we will stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Oliver Lee leading up to our stop here. Easy to access, flat, quiet and great sunsets.

We loved the proximity of this camp to San Antonio and the Riverwalk. The value is great and the hosts were very helpful and welcoming. We felt very safe for our entire visit. The only downside is that I wish the immediate area was a little more walkable, but it's only a quick drive to get to the Riverwalk Trailhead. I don't remember how many bars we had, but we definitely had good service through AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.

As others have mentioned, the first part of the road in is quite rough...just take it slow. Go past the cattle guard and there are plenty of spots. There is a sign when you first enter the Kaibab NF...you can keep going past there and find even more spots. We were able to work remotely no problem and then hop into the park during the afternoon/evening. We used the dump station at the GC campgrounds - not the best but it's free.

This park is in a great location, easy access, only 15 minutes from a grocery store, and 40 minutes to Richmond. The sites are large, spaced out, and well maintained. The showers are private, new and clean. The laundry room prices are very reasonable. There are a decent amount of hiking trails within in the park to enjoy, otherwise just a great place to relax and unwind. We loved this campground and wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

We usually stay at city, county and state parks so Stella Mare was quite the treat for us! The sites are pretty narrow, so we didn't have space to put our awning out or sit on the side of our trailer. The hot tub was fabulous and well maintained. We were on the back row of the property and the road noise was pretty bad, but nothing ear plugs couldn't fix. Be sure to bring carrots to feed the horses at the property next door. :)

We normally don't stay at RV parks like this but we selected this KOA because of it's location. The site we were at was dirt, but most of the big rig spots are asphalt and come with chairs, table and grills. The sites are pretty close together, but we didn't come here for privacy or views.
We really enjoyed the pool, and the laundry/bath house in the middle of the campground seems to be brand new. The showers were individual rooms for maximum privacy. They even have daily trash pick up every morning!
The staff was super nice and overall it exceeded our expectations.
