Confirmed by 23 users | Last reported on May 14, 2024This sites are level with easy pull through sites. There is a beautiful view of a large butte, but only the RV's on the end of the row can see it. Lovely sunrises. There is no office, but a white board with info as you drive in. There is also a number of someone to call if you have a question. I needed to know where to get propane (there is none at the RV site) and though they didn't answer, they called me back later saying that the gas station down the street sells it. The night before we left I got a text inviting us to the community fire pit for music and company which was nice. It is only about 15 min from the west entrance of Big Bend so it was a convient place to stay to visit the park. The town is tiny and the only grocery store is slightly bigger than a convience mart. Great cell service. The new plants they have put in will be lovely in about 4 years. Diesel is expensive there (over $4/gallon so fill up before you get there)

This is a newer campground, and the owners are rapidly expanding and adding to the RV park. Everything is nice and new, Wifi was some of the best we've had. Our friends booked a boondocking site, and by the time they arrived electric has been installed. If you're having trouble finding a site with the hookups you want, you might call in to see.
I highly recommend staying here if you're in Terlingua!

The location is great and the hosts are just wonderful. Terlingua is a pretty special place and we can't wait to come back. When we return, this is where we will stay. Highly recommend!

We chose a boondocking site which is really nicer than I imagined. No one close to us. The last night they offered us a full hookup site for just a bit more and it was welcomed. Longer showers felt great after hiking in the NP. The sites are perfectly placed.
There was a beautiful campfire with a band on Thursday night (our last night). We ate at the Chili Pepper just down the road and really loved it. Can’t wait to come back. The cell signal (ATT) was so good I didn’t even use the Wi-Fi.

Allison is the most accommodating host we have experienced in our seven years of rv’ing. The sites were large with plenty of room between the sites. They are working very hard making improvements and upgrades. It’s a desert setting so expect rocks and gravel, not a lot of green grass and pine trees. Great dog run, music nearly every week. Will definitely be back.

It’s easy to find and worth the trip to this part of Texas to see some of the best views in the state. The owners treat you like long long friends.

Allison & Chris are super helpful and very easy to work with. They did everything they could to help make our stay fun and productive. They are working very hard to build this park and improve it, and they are doing a great job.

Nice place to go to old terlingua or state park or national park. Just great. Whole region lost power for a couple of hours and host came by to ask if we were ok and keep us updated.

Good location just outside of Big Bend if unable to get reservations inside the Park. Friendly, accommodating hosts working to develop the park but we felt it was expensive for what we got. We had a boondocking site - no hookups, showers, toilets, amenities, nor adequate WIFI. Just blowing power dust while we were there.
