Stayed here the very beginning of Oct 2022. Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP.

SUMMARY:
It's more like a state campground with a KOA price.
Wooded campground on a lake close to Crater Lake.
Get your groceries and fill up before you get to the campground due to remote location.
Limited connectivity.

THE GOOD
Sites: Spacious pull-through sites.
Location: 25 minutes from the northern entrance of Crater Lake NP.
Location: You are in the woods with the nearest full-service grocery store 80 miles away. So it is very peaceful.
The grounds: Maintained well enough.
Office/Store: They have some grocery basics (eggs, milk, bread, etc) as well as RV basic needs.

THE BAD
Management: More difficult to deal with when changes arise, compared to other RV parks.
Token system: You need to buy tokens for laundry. Tokens are also used for 8 min showers (showers are free).

COULD BE BETTER: (not necessarily good or bad)
Sites: All dirt sites and wood chips for the living space / mulch. Not level.
Gas: Within 15 minutes at Diamond Lake.
Groceries/Restaurants: 1 hour and a half +/- from campground.
Wifi: No campground wifi available. Again, in the middle of the woods, so makes sense.
Cell / hotspot: Works for basic needs, but you might have issues if needing to work on vpn/secured network.

Stayed here Nov of 2021 during Thanksgiving week. Catching up on reviews.

Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP

THE GOOD
Location: Gas, restaurants, and groceries are within 5-10 minutes.
Staff: Very friendly and helpful.
Sites: Large paved sites with grass living areas. No shade though.
Maintenance: Clean and nicely maintained,
Patio: Private bungalow / tiki bar.
Secure: Gate code for entry.
Office/Store: Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff.
Facilities: Laundry was nice and worked as expected.

THE BAD:
Political Flags: Most KOAs do a better job at limiting allowed flags to American flags. Unfortunately, this KOA allowed political flags, including non-family-friendly items such as a large flag with an AR-15 saying "Try to take our guns," a "Let's Go Brandon" flag, and other similar items. Just makes for a negative environment at what should be a neutral ground for all the enjoy.

COULD BE BETTER:
I can see this KOA becoming run-down over time, if they continue allowing certain people to make the environment uncomfortable for others.

Stayed here end-Feb 2024.
Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Concrete pad. Site #7

General: The design of the sites is ideally set up so each site feels like and end site with no neighbor on either side of your rig.

Staff: Did not see staff but checkin was easy and organized via text.
Sites: The staggered site design is so smart and makes each site feel much more private. On a concrete 32' pad with covered metal structure. Paking is set up perpendicular behind your rig.
Campground Road: Gravel road. Road into the campground is dirt/gravel and can be washboarded.
Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi.
Grounds: Clean and maintained really well.
Bathrooms/Showers: Did not use.
Laundry: Did not use.
Location: Gas, groceries, and restaurants all within 5 min.
Near highway: No.
Near train: Yes. But infrequent.
Cell using booster: AT&T (2-3 of 4 bars —4G) and Verizon (3 of 4 bars sometimes 4 bars—4G). Both were strong enough to work on VPN just fine and have Zoom meetings. Small moments of lag when using AT&T. Could stream as well on both networks.

Great place for a one-nighter or a week. Quiet and safe.

Check-in: Go into the Casino entrance and see front desk. They will check you in.
Sites: Nice green grass will for the living space and gravel sites. Our site was level and it seemed that the others were as well as nobody seemed to need levelers that I can recall.
Hookups: Hookups seemed brand new.
Location: Convenient. Town is 15 min away and has all you need. The casino and golf course are an awesome combo. Can get different types of food at early and late hours in the casino. Not sure if there is much to do in the area other than golf and/or the casino as we mainly worked (WFH) and relaxed while we were at the site.

If you are not familiar with farm life, you should know that the farm behind the RV park does spray fertilizer/manure regularly.

Very big campground with large concrete slab sites. Within 25 minutes of Rocky Mountain National Park. We were there for July 4th week/weekend so lots of fun going on and a decorated golf cart parade. :)
Friendliness: Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating.
Sites: Brand new, nicely maintained sites. Fairly level. Upgraded sites have paver patios, a refrigerator, stone fireplaces, and great views of the lake(s).
Location: Lots to offer on-site (food, games, basketball court, pickle ball courts, several large dog parks, etc). Town is within 5-10 minutes of the park entrance. Gas within a couple of minutes from the park.
Wifi: You won't likely be able to stream movies (maybe if there aren't many people in the park you could) but the wifi was decent enough for working speeds on a vpn.
Laundry: Facilities were very clean and new. The washers all performed really well where the dryers actually dried our clothes properly on one cycle.

Site type: Back-in, FHU, 50 AMP.

THE GOOD
Location: About 5 miles to gas, restaurants, and groceries. Walmart Grocery / Superstore for anything needed plus some.
Location: Helpful to stop in-between Salt Lake City/Wendover and Reno or California.
Staff: Really nice folks and helpful when needed.
Office/Store: They had drinks, some snacks, healthy/beauty, and a few RV basics.
Sites: Fairly large gravel sites with small trees.
Maintenance: Really clean and well-maintained.

COULD BE BETTER:
Sites: Only grass around was on the end spots.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on the grass. Big sign to tell you to keep off, even if it is your site.

WORTH NOTING (not good or bad thing)
Location: Not much to our understanding in the area within less than 2 hours to explore. We could be wrong though.
Wifi: Could not connect at any point during the week.
Speeding: We have been to lots of RV parks (over 100 now) and it was noticeable that people drive much faster through the park at this location. Careful with your pets and kids.
Sites: The back-ins are backed right up to the site(s) behind you. So, the longer rigs can seem pretty close to one another if they backed up beyond what is really needed.
Facilities: Did not use any facilities here.

Stayed here beginning of March 2024.
Pull-through FHU 30/50 amp. Concrete pad. Site #39

General: Take this park into a different location and it would be average at best. Close to Big Bend NP and SP. Not much for a camping environment, even with such beautiful Dark Skies declaration, but they try by offering a games area which is nice. There are nicer parks nearby with better camping ambiance but this one is really good simply for location only.

Staff: Did not personally encounter staff. Check-in is at entrance using a whiteboard.
Sites: Bare bones gravel pads with a fire ring. Hard to give this too high of praise when the sites are basic necessities.
Campground Road: Dirt and gravel road. Easy entrance from main road.
Campground WiFi: Could not always connect to campground WiFi but it would occasionally work. Most campgrounds have been upgrading wifi of late, and I think this campground has yet to improve.
Grounds: New sites under construction so tractors working most days. Clean and maintained well.
Bathrooms/Showers: Did not use.
Laundry: Did not use.
Location: Gas, groceries, and local restaurants all within 5 min.
Near highway: No.
Near train: No.
Cell using booster: AT&T (2-3 of 4 bars - 4G) and Verizon (1-2 of 4 bars - 4G).
AT&T was primary option for work on a vpn, slightly delayed Zoom video meetings, and streaming struggled.
Verizon struggled and was not useful for work on vpn, could not have Zoom meetings, and could not stream.

Stayed here in Dec of 2021 for Christmas week. Catching up on reviews.

Site type: Pull-through, FHU, 50 AMP.

THE GOOD
Location: About 5 miles to gas, restaurants, and groceries.
Staff: Really nice folks and helpful when needed.
Office/Store: All that you will need for camping and the farm's produce store as well. Also lots of nicknacks for gifts.
Sites: Fairly large gravel sites with palm trees. The premium sites have really big paver patios with grills and a paver fire pit, if you are looking for that type of stay.
Maintenance: Really clean and well-maintained.
Pets: Great dog pen, which is probably the largest dog park at an RV park I have seen yet.
Facilities: Laundry was clean and worked as expected.

WORTH NOTING (not good or bad thing)
Wifi and Cell: It was a while ago so I cannot recall all that well..

Stayed here mid-Oct of 2022.

Site type: Back-in, FHU, 50 AMP, Eucalyptus Isle

THE GOOD
Location: Gas pumps only 2 miles down the road 24-hour, restaurants on site
Location: You are right on rt 1 and there is no shortage of beautiful views and experiences.
Sites: Spacious paved spots. Very large grass living areas within the trees behind the site. The living space on the side of the site feels really close to neighbors hookups, but again the back of the site was VERY spacious.
Grounds: Clean and nicely maintained! Really cute decorations for the season and a happy family environment.
Office/Store/Restaurants: Good sized store. Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff. Lots of gifts available. The restaurants (2 of them) were both quite good.
Wifi: Worked fairly well. Especially considering the campground was 100% booked up. And they are even upgrading it further.
Facilities: Bathrooms were clean and really nice (showers could use an upgrade for the $$)
Facilities: There is a sauna on site, which is nice.

THE BAD:
Facilities-Laundry: Older washers and dryers. Worked well enough but seem like they should be much better considering the cost.
Facilities-Showers: Same comment as the washers/dryers. Much nicer showers exist at other campgrounds which charge much less. Just an expectation that comes with the resort and cost in my opinion.
Party campers: Surprisingly some campers in the isle behind us were playing music REALLY loud. The campground could have done a better job at moderating that, considering the protected nature preserve (and other campers' respect)

COULD BE BETTER: Not good or bad
Location: Groceries are 25 min away. But that is entirely a reflection of the beautiful protected area within which the campground resides.
Vacation-camper-specific: Several campers on different occasions walking through our site. Comes with the vacationers though because they aren't familiar with the etiquette,

Stayed in end of Oct 2022
Site type: Pull through, FHU, 50 AMP, end of row.
I do not often give a 5 star. But, this really is a super nice place!

THE GOOD
Gated: Gate with code for after hours.
Location: Gas pumps 1 mile down the road. Restaurants and groceries 2 miles away.
Location: 30 min from West entrance of Pinnacles National Park. 1 hour from the East entrrance.
Sites: Spacious paved spots. Nicely landscaped living space.
Grounds: Clean and nicely maintained!
Office/Store: Good sized store. Some grocery items and a good amount of RV stuff. Lots of gifts available.
Wifi: Worked fairly well. Especially considering the campground was 100% booked up. And they are even upgrading it further.
Facilities: Bathrooms were among the best RV bathrooms we have experienced. Private, tiled bathroom and shower. Frosted glass doors to the large showers.
Site: We had an end site and would highly suggest it if you have pups.
Wifi: The campground WiFi was really strong for an RV park.

THE BAD:
Nothing that we can think of.

COULD BE BETTER: Not good or bad
Smell: The overall area (not the RV park) occasionally had a rubbery odor.
