“Winnemucca's newest RV Park”
While New Frontier RV Park wasn’t around when Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid robbed the First National Bank of Winnemucca on September 19, 1900, we are sure they would have found a way to stay with us, enjoy the great outdoors and maybe they would have decided not to rob the bank on the way to becoming infamous outlaws. Make your reservations today and see if you can solve the controversy over whether or not it really was the “Wild Bunch.”

Lovely RV park! Nice, clean, well maintained sites, with lots of space. Beautiful views of the mountains.
Decent RV park, nice views and lovely staff. Big pull thrus. They have a dog park but it is just gravel. Not bad, but some tree and grass for the doggies would be cool!
Big rv park, well-maintained, no road noise. A good stop on the way through Nevada. Our spot #11 on Road E was a mostly-level concrete pad surrounded by gravel, very clean, with tiny trees. Sites near the dog park had nice big trees with a lot more shade. Adjacent restaurant Wingers was good, try the spicy chicken sandwich.
This is a very new RV Park that also offers stays in park models. They also have what they call "the Village" which is for workers who have come to the area for temporarily contracts. The campground part of the park has 137 sites. Most are back-ins with 15 very long pull thrus. Our rate is Passport America which is only for back-ins. The park is gravel that has been swept away for the RV and car parking. Sites are long enough with a place beside for the tow. Every back-in site in on a slant. Not sure why they built them all with slope but if you back up way to end you are level. The park has a beautiful community room and spa style showers. Each site has a picnic table. When registering, ask to not be placed next to someone. The park was almost empty while there but they placed five of us right next to each other. The park is surrounded by beautiful mountains and has a small casino right near the entrance with a restaurant. There is free WiFi which was pretty good but the park wasn't very crowded.

We were on our way to Vegas from Bend and this seemed like a good stopping point. We have Passport America and have been really happy with it. This park is very nice. The spots are somewhat close but have enough space to have a picnic table and ample parking. The spots are a bit sloped, but easy enough with our leveling blocks. The park was nearly empty so we had no one around us. Check in was a breeze and the guy was very nice. My husband always checks out the showers and after awhile I started to get worried. He came back and was like, "those were awesome." There is a bar and casino at the entrance and it's a quick drive to town where there are more casinos and restaurants. We were definitely happy with our stay and would stay here again overnight or for longer if we needed.

Park was rather large, but was clean. We were going to stay a few days but there wasn't much we were interested in doing in Winnemucca and we decided we would rather spend more time in the next spot and we moved on early.
I don't think I would consider it a destination but if you have to stay in Winnemucca it is a clean, safe place to stop.

Stayed here 2 nights. Used Passport America. Had a back-in site, 50 amp FHU, and cable. Sites are wide and long. Gravel site, but not dirty and dusty. Lanes and turns in park are wide and paved. Absolutely Big Rig Friendly. Hubbie reports utility hook-up went smooth. Staff is friendly and organized.
This is a newer park, well-kept and well designed. Nice landscaping that will be great when mature. Sites have plenty of space from neighbor RV and picnic table. Each site has room for parking toad on the site, no hanging in the street. Each site has two trees, placed to give shade but not in way of slides or awnings.
Quiet yet convenient to area. Beautiful mountains views from all sites. Quail spotted as we left this morning.
Did not use laundry or shower facilities. Restaurant adjacent is casual and food is good.
Not to gush too much, but I wish more parks were laid out like this one. One of the nicest parks we have stayed at in a long time.

Wow, what a VERY nice RV park. I was so happy to pull in here and see huge spots (100ft pull thru and 70ft back in) with great hookups, everything is updated and paved spots and trees (though small ones for now) all over the place. Each site has a new metal picnic table and plenty of space to park your vehicle as well as set up chairs, etc.
This park seems to be very new in an area of the town that is going to be "master planned" so they are getting a good start. There are some cabins that can be rented and quite a few RV sites.
They have wifi that works so-so and in the office area where there is seating and a TV, there is another wifi connection that is much better.
The staff was very nice and helpful as well, getting us all set up and even chatting with our kids when they wanted to talk.
A good sized dog park is here as well and it is all gravel. There are some BBQs and horseshoes areas as well.
Walking distance to a small casino and a restaurant. We did not go to those places so I cannot say if they are good, but seem to be just as new as the park.
I really wanted to give this park 5 stars but the lack of activities for kids is unfortunate. It is down the street from 2 other parks that have pools and playgrounds and for the amount of space they have here, just having a playground would have been a good touch when people come through with kids. It seems to be a lot of in and out people since this is on the road from Sacramento/Reno up to Yellowstone area (we saw many people check in just for 1 night) but that should not stop them from putting in some playground stuff.
Overall - amazing place, 2 nights with Passport America and then we used Good Sam for a 3rd night discount. Come check it out!

This was a one-night stopover for us along the way, a chance to get back on the grid for a night after being off it for a few weeks. It is you typical large parking-lot style RV park with very large, level asphalt pads and all the amenities. The showers were spacious, clean, and had plenty of hot water. The wifi was spotty like free wifi often is; it was much speedier when we logged on at 0430 while everyone else was still asleep! Our price reflects a Good Sam discount which was roughly equivalent to the tax, so that was a wash.
