Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on July 07, 2022Great park. New, so construction was still ongoing. Great amenities including spacious, easy sites, killer clubhouse & pool, 3 dog parks, 5+ miles of bike/walking trails. Convenient to Granby lake, Winter Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The town of Granby is small and has all the basics. This park will be worth the $$ once it is finished and the landscaping matures. We camped at River Run RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
Kinda spendy but worth the splurge
There is a documentary on Netflix called "Tread" check it ouf if going to Granby

We love RIVER RUN! We’ve stayed here 3 times in the past 5 weeks. The location puts you right where all the beauty of Colorado can be explored. Easy drive to RMNP, Grand Lake, Lake Granby, Winter Park, Fraser, and all the great dirt roads in the area that lead to great hikes. The resort itself provides plenty of activities, it’s quiet at night and there is a security officer that patrols the grounds. We have a 31 ft. bumper pull with one slide out and we have had no problem getting into the back-in sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. No crowding at this resort, you have a large, clean campsite. Can’t wait to stay there when the fall colors start changing. Free WiFi or you can pay to upgrade.

10/12 No dump stations were open in the area except one and it was blocked by an on occupied truck camper... so only choice was to ask if River Run would allow us to dump and fill up. Answer was no, and so at the end of the day out of desperation, paid for one night so we could just fill up and dump. Probably a 5 star rating for those that frequent RV resorts.
Staff all very friendly, patient and helpful. We don’t stay in campgrounds often, but this place was very nice, with well taken care of grounds. What also interested us was the had tiny homes with very nice views of the mountains that would be an awesome base camp to explore RMNP and the surrounding area

Stayed here in June 2021.
Definitely not the place if you're looking to get away from it all!
Huge place just outside Granby that has just about every amenity you can think of. In addition to RV and tent sites, they have Airstreams, Conestoga Wagons, Cabin/Tiny Homes, and Villas for rent, and are in the process of installing "Adventure Tents" and Yurts. Also a pool, 3 hot tubs, Tavern, Bar/Grill, General Store, Fitness Center, lawn games, Sport Court Complex, arcade, mini bowling, live music on weekends, special events, playgrounds, dog parks, golf cart rentals, lake, fishing, SUP/Kayak rentals. Beautiful surrounding views.
Clean, well maintained, great customer service. You can have firewood/ice, and more delivered directly to your site. While the nightly rate was more than we usually like to pay as full-timers, this was all I could find with availability near Rocky Mt. National Park when I was looking for a spot earlier this year. At this park you definitely get what you pay for, though, and we enjoyed our stay.

Very big campground with large concrete slab sites. Within 25 minutes of Rocky Mountain National Park. We were there for July 4th week/weekend so lots of fun going on and a decorated golf cart parade. :)
Friendliness: Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating.
Sites: Brand new, nicely maintained sites. Fairly level. Upgraded sites have paver patios, a refrigerator, stone fireplaces, and great views of the lake(s).
Location: Lots to offer on-site (food, games, basketball court, pickle ball courts, several large dog parks, etc). Town is within 5-10 minutes of the park entrance. Gas within a couple of minutes from the park.
Wifi: You won't likely be able to stream movies (maybe if there aren't many people in the park you could) but the wifi was decent enough for working speeds on a vpn.
Laundry: Facilities were very clean and new. The washers all performed really well where the dryers actually dried our clothes properly on one cycle.

This park has everything you need to not leave your entire stay but if you are the adventurous type it’s close to a lot of outdoor activities to enjoy. We balance our week between both. Some days we just wanted to relax and enjoy the heated pool and other days we went to Rocky Mountain NP or take an off-road adventure. If you love the outdoors but don’t want to give up your comfort of feeling at home this is the place. Quite at night as well with wonderful temperatures to keep the windows open as you sleep. We will definitely return next year for another trip.

We got to stay at this resort on a special they had, which made it affordable. It is a gorgeous new park with some truly amazing amenities. They have a heated pool and 3 hot tubs, arcade, bar, bowling, golf, multiple dog parks and shower houses and even weekly activities for kids and family!
It is just a few minutes outside of Rocky Mountain National park and had plenty of lakes and forests around it for paddle boarding and hiking.
Also the staff was all so kind when we went!

We stayed here for 2 weeks from mid June 2022 to early July. We were really pleased with the cleanliness of the site we were in (#151) as well as the grounds / landscaping and pretty much all areas of the resort BESIDES the bathrooms. The pool was enjoyable, but lacked adequate seating/furniture for a resort this size. The atmosphere was festive and fun for all ages. The fitness center was very large and had nice equipment, but lacked in cleanliness. The bathrooms were just really really bad. Even after bringing up the horrible conditions (with photos as proof) to the staff, the house-keeping did not change. That was really disappointing as everything else seemed to be really, really great. There were lines of people standing outside the comfort stations on multiple occasions for the bathrooms/showers. Again, for a resort this size there really needs to be more bathrooms/showers. Be prepared to shave with cold water. It was nice having the small grocery store on-site and the recreation (Rocky Mountain National Park) in the area is unparalleled. It's a beautiful place to stay, we just wish the shower situation would be addressed as we'd love to go back to this area.

This place has everything! Bowling, an amazing pool and hot tubs, super clean facilities, full hookups, rent an airstream or chuckwagon for the weekend, stay in a tiny home - really, there’s so much to do especially for families. Our site (308) had an outdoor kitchen area, nice firepit and chairs, and outdoor table and chairs.

Probably the nicest place I have ever “camped” haha! If you rough it here, you missed the point. It is pricey, but the amenities and atmosphere are what you are paying for. Great jump off for Rocky Mountain National park, but you may find yourself never leaving the resort. We enjoyed our stay and actually plan to come back, though we tend to do more off grid stuff generally. Sometimes you need to take care of yourself, and this place lets you do it with ease!
