Very nice double wide, level concrete pad. So nice to have some elbow room at an rv park. Great views of the snow capped mtn range surrounding you. Nice dog park on-site. Easy to find and get to/from the interstate. Quiet. One of those places you hear the coyotes talking in the night.

I would return here during my often frequent travel coming and going. In today’s economy $55 is a mid-range value. Worth it to me because $35s seem to always get you a narrow and too often unlevel gravel lot. The $75s seldom live up to their price point.

I will save time by simply agreeing with the previous reviews about the park quality. My $55 rate is for a weekly rate, pull thru and before taxes an fees. Be prepared for a $10 a week pet fee that is Not disclosed prior to booking online. I also paid about $60 in taxes; which is unusual. The best sites in my opinion are 1-22. If I return, I’ll only stay there. My toy hauler ramp is my outdoor patio and it would face away from the interstate, get all the sun and a great view of mtn range. The dog park/s are the smallest I have seen in 6 years of travel, but the grass is nice. A few blocks away, with a lot more buffer from the interstate is a new rv resort under construction. Might be worth looking into in 2022. Hopefully it helps bring prices down. My new 2021 truck gps took me to the wrong exit, so watch for that.

I have been here before. Easy in/out, great grass for the dog to relax and we enjoy the paved trail on the other side of the river. Has been very peaceful both times. Always here in Oct - Dec, so too cold for open windows, makes the highway traffic irrelevant when the furnace and generator are running anyway. Pretty much had the whole place to ourselves again.

it was a good place for my size rig. you do need to watch out for some big dips in parking lot. otherwise, more level than not. when I arrived the more private spots away from the lot were full, so we parked off to the side of the large open lot. the volume of traffic/truckers was minimal in the lot. don't stay on the other side of the freeway, because that has a ton of construction traffic moving raw material (super dusty) 24/7. on the 2nd day a handful of locals arrived for the day (until dinner time) for some ATV exploring. they were very considerate and did not speed through the area or tear up the lot. it was very quiet for us during the day and night. sheriff drove through a few times during our 2 days.

on the 2nd day we woke to a heard of cattle roaming by (see picture). not sure who was more curious (millie or the calves). grateful millie didn't yell.

Internet was solid enough to for video calls and streaming Netflix on either tmobile or verizon with no booster.

I would definitely stay here again.

My first HH stay was a good one. Though it became an expensive one thanks to good wine and cheese. In general it was a good base camp and I would return.

I too found the breakfast underwhelming, so skipped it day 2. Pro Tip: The little seafood shack across from the Tillamook Creamery has very good clam chowder.

The location did have ample room, though I wouldn't want to drive in it during a heavy recent rain. I could see getting stuck in what must turn to mud.

Pros: beautiful peaceful setting. dog park has the best grass I have experienced in my 6 years of FT traveling and it has nice mature shade providing trees. We spent many hours during our stay chilling under the shade, working on the laptop while the dog slept or rolled around on her back. The MH sites are long, wide and lots of open space between sites.

Cons: the park wifi is isolated to the club house and isn't strong enough to attend video conference calls, stream YouTube clips or download software updates. Verizon is the only vendor and works well unless (like me) you are on the pre-paid hotspot plan. Then you can expect 600kbp top speed most of the time; which also makes it worthless when you want to accomplish the 3 items already mentioned.

Tips: The town of Newport (~15 min north) is your biggest town and offers a substantial set of stores (Safeway, Super1, Auto Supply, Verizon, Fast Food). Walmart is south and takes about 40 min because of the distance, small town roads/frequent stop signs and road construction. I didn't get any arrival instructions and this is the first place where the check-in is about a mile from the rv park and hookup/disconnect spot. My advice is drive straight to the rv park, park in the hookup/disconnect area and then drive your toad back to the office to check-in. Otherwise, park on the street in front of the office and just let the traffic figure out how to get around you while you are checking in.

For a shorter (1 - 2 week stay) I would likely come back. I have enough of a data plan on my phone to get me through a week as a hotspot. Anything longer, it is just too debilitating and I'll stay closer to CDA. I made it 3 weeks and would stay 2 more if I still had enough data to keep working.

I see why people opt to own a lot with the cabin and pergola. Fix the internet situation and I would be too tempted to own one too.

I choose the park because it was listed in the annual Newmar Resort publication. In short it belongs in the publication.

Extremely clean, long concrete pads, super wide roads. I greatly enjoyed the over 21 area (worth the extra money). They are little over the top about dogs off leash. While I was digging in one of the storage bays, my girl snuck out of the rv to pee on the grass. She got caught and my apology was not enough. He had to tell me 3 ways how I was out of compliance and why the rule exists. I just took the dressing down and in return there was no fine.

The free park wifi is fine for general internet and zoom calls, so I was able to keep working. But not for streaming video. You could pay for an enhanced wifi. Not sure the cost. I had a strong Verizon signal, but was throttled so much it was worthless. Tmobile was no better.

I would stay here again.

Nice to see potable water at a dump station. Easy in/out for big rigs.

Closed though until June 5th because of covid.

There are several great places to let your pup have a great time off leash within 10 min of the RV park (Badger Mtn, an epic dog park behind Yoke's Fresh Market, and a nature preserve next to Amon Creek on Leslie Rd.). Their dog parks are some of the smallest I have experienced, but they do let you run your dog off leash on the disk golf course and you can wander off to the adjacent undeveloped land.

It was a treat to have a park with mega wide and paved roads (finally, no billowing dust storms from cars wandering the rv park). I found all of the staff to be great. For example, I arrived 15 min after closing without a reservation, but since they were still milling around they took me in without any complaint and took the time to 'talk to me' about area.

I too find it a bit pricey, but the rate is only fractionally higher than the competition and the monthly rate (starting at 500/mo + electricity) is in my opinion a fair price. I have paid a lot more in Colorado Springs. Sure, I too find it disappointing to charge me a pet fee.

The bathrooms are amazing. Love having a private and secure 100 sq foot room with shower, sink and toilet. Wish I could adjust the water temp and didn't have to keep hitting the shower power to keep water running, but for me it is a minor inconvenience.

Biggest downside? It is next to a busy residential/industrial road and the freeway is just beyond that road. The early morning commuters had me up pretty early on the days I was sleeping with the window open.

They offer free basic cable and wifi, which I found was capable of handling video streaming well. Here are my speed test results (ping/download/upload) from my MIFI devices:

tmobile (29,24,8)
verizon w/ MIMO (48,73,34)
verizon w/o MIMO (48,112,34)

It is a special place. You feel the family run business vibe. Complementary warm cookies upon arrival and a scone the next morning. Lot of trails to explore. My Starlink worked well. Very quiet. If you have the budget, it is great alternative to Blackwell Island or the few other 65+/nt parks. I stayed in the largest site, it does have a bend in the middle. So, be aware if you intend to have a 45'+ rig.
