Great local for open desert, minimal vegetation, quiet stay with nearest RV to use was about a mile away. Quiet, open, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, dark sky and plenty of sunshine. Would not recommend between mid April to late August, unless you love the heat. Road in rough, but take it slow.

Just 9.3 miles E of Vidal Junction, CA or 8.4 miles W of Parker, AZ on CA-62. If you miss the turn there is another a about 100 yards ahead, they both t merge into each other a short distance N of the highway.
Lots of space to spread out, easily sites for over 50 rigs with lots of distance between neighbors.
Rocky and hard packed ground with large level areas, sites suitable for any size rig, with plenty of ground clearance. Area was very clean with very little litter. May be windy at times, but beautiful vistas and wide open views (it is a desert). Stayed in January, so perfect weather.

Small clean RV park, all level gravel, 20,30 and 50A full hookups. Owners very friendly & knowledgeable of area. 10 sites, owner puts guest away from of the RV’s when possible. Very clean with great water pressure and clean power. Owner very knowledgeable of area and nearby points of interest. Rest room on grounds, residential style shower inside main building for $3 fee, and it is spotless. Two + acres of lunch green grass for dogs to run just behind RV parking area. The RV site is aboutt 8 miles south of Socorro and exactly 2.5 miles south (NM-1) of 4 way stop at flashing light in village of San Antonio (US 380 and NM 1, at Owl Cafe). CAUTION: Google and other apps will lead you astray! It is also just minutes north of Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Area.

5.62 miles from US-380 on FS-57. Low water crossing just after turn onto FS-57 - several sites on left side of road within first mile, then turns into private land on both sides of roadway (no camping!). Road is well packed gravel with some minor washboarding in low spots, just past 5 1/2 miles you will see sign on right (south) side of road saying Baca Campground, several spots on right side of road, bur main campground is on left side. Great Spot to spend a few days and decompress, with internet download speeds above 14 MB/s without booster! Pulling a 36' travel trailer.

Clean sites and laundry room, did not check showers. Water pressure very high, so be sure to use some type of flow restrictor. A bit noisy early in the morning when many residents are headed out to work before sunrise. Otherwise clean, level and a mix of workers and those passing through.

Just passing thru on way back home, $14 a night with water, 30A pull-thru and a well covered picnic table, some even with 3 open windows and front side looking toward lake (see pict). Great view of the lake, lots of birds and small wildlife with RV campsites 20' to 40'+ apart (not cramped like some). Will stop here again.

The beautiful wide-open area is suitable for any size rig. Hard packed rocky ground, so no worries getting stuck in sand or mud. Lots of space for 50 to 80 rigs with plenty of distance between neighbors. Clean area, some road noise, but easy access that more than makes up for low traffic roadway noise.
High winds on possible, but dust is not an issue. Great hiking all-around with nearby Wal-Mart and other stores in Parker AZ for supplies. If you miss the first turn off CA-62, don't panic, there is another turn just 100 or so yards down the road. Both roads merge into the main hard-packed road into the camping area.
