“Relax on the Lake!”
This lake on the grassy plains offers many activities, such as boating, swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing, and birding. Relax at a campsite with views of the lake after a hike along the lakeshore. One of the best ways to experience a state park is is by camping under the stars. Different camping opportunities are available and whether you like to roll out your sleeping bag or curl up in your RV, state parks has it all. With lakes and rivers, New Mexico is the place to find your adventure whether it be motorboating, sailing, kayaking, rafting or canoeing. Fishing, of all varieties, is one of the most popular activities at NM State Parks. Twenty-four parks have ponds, streams, rivers or lakes, providing a variety of different fishing experiences. From a lazy afternoon casting for pan-fish to a high-energy adventure of fishing for 40-inch tiger muskie, your State Parks have a lot to offer.
Nice place, table with covering at each site. Pretty clean bathrooms. Only draw back is, you are sleeping on a bed of huge rocks.
Sweet set ups with a view
You wouldn't expect much considering where it is but this place is actually gorgeous. Pull into a power and water site for $14 a night and you're ready to go. The pictures say it all.
