We camped here in the pouring rain in late April. The host/owners are amazing The park is very new sites each have fire pits Quiet. Only drawback was only porta pot

The lake was a nice addition saw lots of small fish caught. Camp spots were ok If you need showers or bathroom this was the worst. Had to notify a toilet needing plunged but to credit it was quickly taken care of. They have several new cabins in the works so maybe one will be a new bathroom shower

Close to NYC. 6 blocks to Path to get to the city. We chose to walk to Statue of Liberty 40 minutes (if raining which it was when we went we were soaked) drive to parking think it was $7.00
Restrooms were Very Clean showers were clean and hot
Security 24 hours and attentive (we choose to leave very early. Guard saw us SIGNING OUT and opened gate for us
We were here during tropical storm Ophelia so mostly clouded in but fro our site A2 you could see Lady Liberty!!
Is a gravel parking lot no tables no trees but because of the closeness to the city HIGHLY recommend

VEry rough. Was hot 100 degrees and dry. Dry was good would not advise camping here if wet. We’re glad to have electric. Shared water with another camper who did have a splitter on spigot but they had spigot off so we used as needed and turned back off. $30 per night was certainly cheaper than any other choices around. Also restrooms were locked.

We stayed here in early May. Chose because of the price and closeness to Great Smoky Mountains. Restroom were amazing enjoyed the private shower bathroom combination down to the detailed tile work We used the laundry and was clean All adults so didn’t use playground and bounce house did use bball court. Right on stream others took their poles saw no fish caught. Nice walks for our pups

We stayed August 2022. Our site was a pull through on grass with water and electricity. Close to the river though the cement wall restricts any view of the river. It was typically for KOA crowded. They did have a pool mini golf. We did not use. We did use bathrooms and shower both clean

We stayed here for one night heading west August 25 2022. Staff very friendly. Very few other campers. Close to 1880 town. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Was very hot out bathrooms were cool.

We stayed here 5 nights. From booking the stay lady I reserved with knew we wanted to use mass transit and needed to use showers so made sure we were close to both.
Restrooms were spotless.
Mass transit was easy. Cost the same to use the bus as parking at the transit and yes bus took 20-30 minutes but we didn’t deal with traffic and BUS DRIVERS WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ALWAYS

It is close to road noise
WiFi was AMAZING we don’t watch movies but could always search etc

We usually avoid KOA but this was a nice surprise. The sites we were assigned were 310 &311. Not great when it rains bit of a mud hole. Would be perfect in dry weather close to entrance could use more gravel to help with mud. But spacious site and plenty of shade. Shower/bath were clean hot showers We van camp and need the restroom access this was a far hike. We stayed week after derby. Is a long drive to Churchill downs
