Amazing campground situated along the Little Pigeon River with great proximity to Gatlingburg, Pigeon Forge, and Great Smokey Mountains National Park. We were in site 16 which had plenty of space and was fairly level. Campground is clean and well-maintained. Campground staff were friendly and helpful. Bath house was awesome - clean, great water-pressure, climate controlled, and beautifully designed. Campground was very full but quiet at night with just the sound of the river going by. Campground map on website is very accurate as far as site spacing. Some sites are very close together but we picked one of the wider sites. We have already made our reservations for next year.

My husband set this up as a Mother’s Day trip for me and it was amazing. We had the playground to our front and a creek to our backs the kids played wonderfully the whole time. The fire pits had grates on them for cooking too! We cooked 90% of our meals outside. The neighbors were great the staff was amazing and the nearby adventures were plentiful. We loved it here.
Only down side was getting in. I would definitely ask the staff if there is a better way than what google maps took us.

This place was phenomenal! We absolutely adored camping here. The access to the creek and swimming hole were perfection. We loved that there was a small dog run area for our fur babies to stretch. The playground was is great shape. The bathrooms were EXCELLENT! So clean and well finished - like nice hotel level. My husband and I both work remotely and the WIFI was excellent even during the couple of storms while we were there. It was an incredibly well landscaped, maintained, clean campground. The staff were so kind too! It was simply a lovely stay for our entire family!

Very scenic nestled next to the Little Pigeon River. Nice facilities such as bath houses, laundry, playground, pavilions with grills and more. Staff very friendly. Stayed in one of only 4 pull-through sites, which are in the middle of the campground. All the sites along the River are back-in but really the best sites. Also tent camping area in the middle. Full hookups. Would definitely stay again. Just a few miles outside downtown Gatlinburg. Cell service not great but the camp’s wi-fi works very well.

This RV Park knows how to do it right! First, being situated on an island 75% of their sites are right on the Little Pigeon River which creates a wonderful ambiance. Second, their bathhouse is hands down the nicest we've ever experienced at an RV park. The inside looks like a hotel bathroom with tiled showers and stone accents including a shower niche to put your shampoo and conditioner! Lastly, the wifi was the fastest we've experienced at any RV park. Lots of RV parks say they have wi-fi, but when you try to use it it is slow as molasses - not this one! So much to love and less than 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the Smokies! Would highly recommend.

Planned our trip in Oct 2018 and picked this spot after researching the area. Site #61 allowed us to park our coach and pitch a tent for extended family. Great location with tubing on the Little Pigeon River that goes around this island campground. New ownership several years ago has really improved everything according to some neighbors that have come here for many years. Playground, dog park, swim beach, and a pavilion gathering area. WiFi boosters are throughout the campground. Cable is also provided. If you are approaching from I-40, take Rt 321. Rt 73 and the Foothills Parkway both are quite curvy with lots of ups and downs.

It appeared to be a very popular and big site. Full hook up. Leveled ground. We like the little creek and the lawn in the middle. Kids are safe to explore and run around. The playground, laundry, public restroom were closed during the pandemic. Wifi was slow and kept dropping. The site was pretty full during the two days we stayed. Our neighbor had two pickups in front of their camper and with a tree right next to our site it took some time to back into our spot. Personally, I feel it's too crowded for camping.

First time staying at the Greenbrier Campground and it’s now a family favorite. Our back-in site was right next to the river where we spent most of our time. Sites can be a bit tight so make sure you do your research ahead of time. The Greenbrier website gives dimensions of each site so you can pick which is the best for you. Make sure you follow the directions listed on their website. We heard a couple horror stories about the route gps took several people. Already booked our next trip!

Great place. We have a 30 foot mobile RV and lucked out and got a great spot beside the little pigeon river which the kids loved. Staff are super friendly and the facilities clean and top notch and kids and the dog all had a blast. They even had internet that worked well as there was no TMobile signal otherwise

We are newbies to RVing and this was our second time at a campground. We chose this one because of the reviews. The Pigeon River that surrounds the campground is beautiful. Our site backed up to the river. There is a swim hole, swings, and a large and clean bath house. We really enjoyed our time here. It's a little drive from Gatlinburg but that was fine for us. It's very close to an entrance to the Smokies with hiking trails and river views/falls. Although we are retired, we noticed that there were lots of kids and it's safe for them to bike ride. The driveway was gravel and it was easy to do my walking. The only negative is the rate. No one is allowed in the camp store. The store items are outside on tables and food items are in a notebook.
