Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 26, 2020Was a good place to hook up to water & electricity but the bathrooms smelled awful & there are not any amenities. A storm was approaching and we wanted to be done driving. Got registered at the American Inn office & got hooked up just in time. Would stay here again just knowing it’s a safe little place to get some rest.

We stayed 1 of 9 very nice pull-thru level concrete pad with 30&50amp FHU sites. There is a lower section with many more graded gravel sites with green grass. All sites have nice shade trees. To our surprise they have their own laundromat with four washers and dryers. Best of all just a short walk to the awesome Pioneer Auto Museum that is a must see.

Nice level pull though with a concrete pad to park on. The price at $38, compared to many or most of the RV Parks along I-90, at $45-$50, was great. The FHU sites are pretty close together. There is a lower section with gravel roads, gravel parking sites, some trees, with 20/30amp elect, water and no sewer. The lower section is more spread out. Stay down here if you don't need to dump and can use 30 amp. Dry camping and tent sites available as well. I did not check on the prices for those sites. This is a good place for an overnight or a few night stay while passing though.

Shade trees at every spot, concrete slaps for the pull through spots, one night stay for us, easy on and off the interstate

We tried to stay here August 25 2022. The campground is closed
American RV Park & Cabins
The campground is adjacent to a motel. Half the park that’s behind the motel, about 9 spots, are 50 amp with brand new concrete pull through pads. The other half seem to be full timers camped on dirt in back in sites. We bottomed out getting from the city street up on the pad, not badly, but others have much worse as the asphalt city road is chewed up. Also, not all spots have that problem, some are level straight in from the street. Very level spot with a tree on either side of us. Bathrooms are unpleasant according to my husband; old, shower pans look dirty, wand shower heads, toilets are clean with plenty of toilet paper. I think the price is pretty high considering there is no WiFi, cable, pool, etc. There’s a second part to the park a few hundred yards down the road that has about 65 pull through sites that have 30 amp and 110. I think those sites go for about $10.00 less a night. The pads are dirt with grass and use the same bathhouses as the 50 amp sites. It was okay for a one night stay, felt safe and it was fairly quiet considering the proximity to I90, as the crow flies about ½ mile from the interstate. The campground served its purpose to get a good night sleep. Site 74 $53.41
