Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 21, 2022We needed an overnight stop to break up our run to the Badlands. This KOA turned out to be perfect spot. I little expensive for a simple FHU, but the park is very clean, grassy, with nice prairie views. Gravel/dirt pads were perfect level, and plenty of grass space between sites. Somewhat older facilities, but bath house was spotless clean, as the laundry. Staff was very friendly and welcoming a guide will take you to your site. Noise from I-90 was negligible, so very quiet at night, and woke to birds singing in the morning. Nice gift shop and café with sandwiches and pizza delivered to your site. The 1880 Town about a quarter mile away was closed (Covid) but looked super interesting. We would have stayed an extra day had it been open.

We read the reviews before reserving online.Very accurate. Stayed 6-28-21 Only needed 1 night , got a pull thru. Site 80 is level, good wifi reception, wonderful Verizon reception. No pool, as it is under reconstruction. Very friendly staff. We ordered a salad and pizza, and they deliver it to your site. Very tasty and a break from "RV food". Half a mile away from the highway noise and Easy on and off I-90 as we traveled on a three week trip. Quiet ! Older bathroom facility , basic but functioning.

I'm behind on my Compendium listings but we stayed here in June 2020. This was a decent stop over when heading west on I-90. It is only about 1/2 mile off the highway - there didn’t seem to be much at the exit as far as restaurants, gas or stores, but that was ok for us and there is a small camp store there. For those familiar with KOAs, this is a basic Journey type - not a lot of extras, but everything you need. There is not much for shade (being in S. Dakota), but the staff was good about moving us over to a site that had a bit of shade when we requested it. It was quiet and we had no issues. The campground is about 1 hr east of Wall, SD, 45-60 minutes east of the Badlands, and only 30-45 minutes from the Minuteman Missile Nat’l Historic site.

Great people, very dog friendly, isolated and very quiet. The sunset on the prairie was beautiful. We ordered pizza and had it delivered to our site, very good. Close to 1880's Town (also very dog friendly). We would stay there again. Very good WIFI.

Quiet isolated and large spots. They have onsite food service which I didn't use. WIFI is capable of streaming video. We will probably stop on our way back East, but only for a day. We did the Badlands run and Wall Drugs already. Not much else to do. Buy your groceries before you arrive. Not much in the area.

We were greeted by Robert and Lisa, the owners of the campground. Very nice couple who also have a to go restaurant on property. They will deliver food to your camper, which is a plus. The office has a well stocked store. The sites are gravel and ours was very level. Lots of grass and areas to walk the dogs. There is also a small dog park. We noticed a number of mosquitoes when we first arrived, but they disappeared as it cooled down in the evening. Despite being only half a mile off the freeway, there was no traffic noise at all. Finally, 1880 Town is located at the same exit. Great stop for kids on the way to the campground. Will definitely be staying here again!

Stayed for 2 nights to visit the Badlands. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. It was very hot outside so we took advantage of their cafe with site delivery. Had pizza and sandwiches, both were good. 2 fenced dog areas that were clean (if your site has any poop there is a penalty) and well kept. Seem all sites have full hook up. Laundry and showers available.
