Park is new so amenities are new (clubhouse, bathrooms, laundry rooms, pool) which are all very nice and clean. Great walking trail near the river. Price reflects Passport America discount. Probably wouldn’t have stayed 6 nights without discount due to almost no cell signal or horrible (almost nonexistent) WiFi. Sites are wide but not level and awkward, no picnic tables, fire pits can be ‘rented’... Convenient to some tourist destinations. From the Interstate is looks like an RV show or huge RV parking lot. Pictures on their website really makes the park seem very “resort-ish” but it has a lot to be desired for resort status, in my opinion. 399 campsites and lots of cabins. Amenities do not match the amount of people camping there.

Parking lot just for RV’s within 0.2 miles (walking distance) to fabulous shopping and restaurants! Quiet, but busy as many RVers make use of this lot while passing through. People seem to be responsible with generators and only use periodically since it’s such close quarters. 6-7 RV’s can fit comfortably, but the lot can probably accommodate 12 if you really needed to fit in. No amenities. Just simple overnight parking or a place to drop your RV for a day while exploring. No Visible Wireless service but T-mobile was good.

The good: somewhat level, full hookups, decent signal, good food at a decent price in casino restaurant, not to far from Oklahoma City and Yukon.
The bad: hookups are a bit difficult in that they are at the front of the 10 sites. 5 of the 10 sites have hookups on the opposite side. Water is very hard to get to and spigots leak. This wouldn’t be a big deal but the spigots are in a hole and they fill with water. So unless you want to stick your hands in muddy water to unscrew hose, just fill up your fresh water tank and be done with it.
The ugly: If you live casinos, you probably won’t love this one. Parking lot is loud an active at night. Lots of cigarette butts.
In conclusion we would stay again only on a week night and only in a serious pinch. We are grateful for the free camping and the field of spring flowers in front of the parking lot!

Great little campground in the bustling city of Auburn. Sites are close together but big enough for large rigs. All sites have a picnic table and fire pit. No privacy in between sites but you’re not on top of each other. Well maintained but pass on the restroom. Nice walking trail on the river and a frisbee golf course. At night, it’s the most quiet campground I’ve ever been to. Electric and water hookups only but there is a dump station. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A bit expensive for what it is but cheaper than nearby RV parks.

Same road as Belly of The Dragon so it tends to be on the busy side. Lots of ATV’s and it can get dusty. If you park far enough off of the road, the dust usually settles away from campsites. It is very quiet at night with sounds of the creek that runs behind. The sky and stars are incredible here. Some sites and some side roads are sugar sand so be careful not to get stuck. Overall it’s a good option for the area!

Easy rest area to get in and out of that accommodates all sizes. There was another rig and a big rig truck the night we stayed but is far enough off the interstate to be quiet. Clean and felt safe.

Fantastic little RV Park with incredible views of Mt Sopris and the Roaring Fork River!
Our first site was a full hookup, large back in site closer to the road. Site 1. $40 nightly. Second site was also back in, overlooking the river, with water and electric hookups only at $30. It was a smaller site but the sound of the river and view were superb. All sites have a fire pit and picnic table. All sites will have road noise but we didn’t find it bothersome. There is a bike/walking path starting at the RV park, easy access to launch a kayak, and about a mile walk to town from the park. The short walk to town is flat, paved, scenic, quiet and full of gorgeous wildflowers. Walking from the RV Park will put you right at the bus station for easy access to surrounding areas. Camp hosts were awesome. Bathrooms with showers were especially clean but a bit dated. Overall, the price for the RV Park was fantastic, as Colorado tends to be a bit on the expensive side. Carbondale is a great little town and a very central location for surrounding areas like Aspen, Glenwood Springs and several scenic drives. We would absolutely return and recommend the park to anyone with any size rig.

This (first come first serve only) campground is split into two main parts. East side: Sites 1-20 water and electric $20/nightly. West side: sites 21 –52 full hookups $25.00/nightly. No dump station, but if there is an open site on the west end, you can dump after camping on the east end. If not site is open, there is a free dump station in town. Pay at the office located at the West Side RV Park in cash or check only, no cards accepted. Restrooms with showers located at the West Side are old but well maintained. 14 days max stay. The campground is few miles from El Reno and near Interstate 40. El Reno has restaurants, grocery, Walmart, and a great laundromat. It’s approx 30 miles from Oklahoma City.
The campground manager, Becky, has cleaned this park up and runs a tight ship. Her and her husband used to camp in the area every few years. When they came in one year, the campground had been taken over by long timers and homeless. The mayor hired them to get it in order. It is a very clean and safe park now. They were awesome campground hosts and their presence was welcomed. Very hardworking folks who take pride in their park!

Right in between the National Park and the little town of Torrey. Decent roads for this dispersed camping area. Way less busy towards the back but scout ahead because some areas would be impossible to turn around or even back out of. Good cell signal. It can get incredibly windy. Absolutely gorgeous views. Some roads would need higher clearance than others. Definitely scout ahead.

Room for parking, picnic tables and a beautiful area to walk dogs. Regular public bathroom here, too. Easy in and out.
