8 hour max stay which is a little difficult but when you’re in a pinch, it works! Clean restrooms, garbage cans, water and beautiful walking path with picnic tables. About 7 parking spots that are wide and fairly level. I don’t think anything longer than 50’ combined could fit. Overall, traffic noise is expected but nice, clean rest area.

Huge Walmart with big parking lot. Lots of lights in parking lot and curbs to park against. This Walmart really caters to RVers with lots of camping gear to purchase. Great location. Noisy but that’s to be expected.

Surrounded by a wall and barbed wire, this is the most secure RV Park we’ve ever stayed at! Inside the gates is a well manicured RV neighborhood with level, paved full hookup sites that are easy to maneuver in and out of. Customer service was wonderful and they welcome Passport America guests for 7 days. WiFi is decent, laundry room, pool, hot tub and grounds were more than adequate. There is a train that passes often but we’ve not once heard a train horn so it wasn’t much of a bother for us. With everything else this place is doing right, the train was no big deal. Bathrooms are usable but being remodeled.

Casino is placed in a small town and backs up to a neighborhood so it is particularly quiet! It may take a little effort to get level in the RV/Truck parking area. Call to check in with security upon arrival. No generators, no amenities, just a nice place to park for a day or two.

We stayed left at the fork and went down 2.5 miles from main road. Found a site right off the dirt road level enough that we didn’t even need to unhitch. Verizon signal was good. Lots of Pronghorn and cows but the real treat was the sunset both nights. And of course wild horses. We only experienced minor wind 90% of the time, but a few serious gusts that would last for about 10 minutes. Anyway, roads are good as of June 2021. No trash and we didn’t see another camper. Also, plenty of places to park near the main road if you didn’t want to drive back so far. So long as a wind storm isn’t on the horizon, this is a perfect spot for a couple days of relaxation.

Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. We got our oil changed here and the auto care center was great. There is a Walmart liquor store inside the store in the grocery section. Lots of road noise from the interstate to be expected but parking lot was quiet without disturbance at night.

Only negative was Verizon signal isn’t good. Literally everything else was great.
If you’re only planning on spending a day at the Grand Canyon, do yourself a favor a camp near the little town of Williams. It’s only a few miles from the Interstate but feels remote. Absolutely gorgeous scenery and plenty of room for many campers. The road is well maintained and suitable for all size rigs. Less than an hour drive to the Grand Canyon but very near train to bring you directly into the National Park. Plenty of options nearby to fill freshwater tank and dump.

Many have fire rings, picnic tables and trash cans. Pretty area and roads decent. Most sites can accommodate any size rig. Didn’t see a site that wasn’t on the water or either had a view of the water. The water isn’t accessible by most sites but pretty views and some Verizon signal. Quiet. Be careful as some sites have broken glass and rusty nails. I would recommend getting out and looking at a site before pulling in.

Right off of Interstate 40 near Flagstaff... Easy to find a pretty level spot in this huge lot. Unfortunately the casino is still closed as of mid-April (covid) but they welcome overnight parking for RVers. The casino grounds are immaculate and the San Francisco Peaks are your view for the evening. Perhaps the best casino parking lot we’ve overnighted in!
