Got in Labor Day when a cancellation came up. Very clean and nice. With a senior pass it was $16 for the night and that’s a great price

First off, don’t let Google do the driving! It routed us through a back way that shouldn’t be on the map so explore the streets in satellite mode before trying.

Basic dirt patch, quiet. Not far off I-10 in an area where there really isn’t much.

I plugged into the 50 Amp for $30. The cheaper was 30 Amp for $20.

Owner is a nice guy that I spoke to via phone.

The place is quiet and seems safe enough.

Parked right on the Tennessee River and this is a beautiful spot!

This is a wonderful stopover!
Yes there is a cattle gate to close when you first come in. Our 35’ diesel pusher with a tow vehicle was about as much as I would want to bring here.

It’s June and there is still some snow on the mountains to the east.

There is some highway noise but it’s not awful by any means.

4bars of 5G phone as well with T-Mobile.

I can see two others about 1/2 mile further in but I’m very happy with the spot I have.

Yes the road in here was very steep, curvy and narrow but that’s okay.

This campground has the most uneven sites!! Some are level but most are ridiculously off. I could not possibly fit into #26 so I had to get a nonelectric spot and it is warm.

Staff was very nice but no offer for any refund or even some firewood so this price for a non-electric site is a joke.

It is a pretty area, it is relatively quiet but definitely not big rig friendly unless you manage to get a level spot.

Nice state park just about 3.5 miles off the interstate, quiet but it is November :-)

It is a basic kinda place but the price reflects that. I would say it’s a good value for the price.

Looks like they have invested in the property with new hookups and sewer. It does provide full hookups and pull through spots.

Again, it’s not a “RV Resort” but a value for the price.

Check in was quick. Clean 50 AMP hookups, water & sewer on each spot.

Looks like a lot of permanent residents but that was just fine.
