Naomi, the owner of Honey Badger has so much heart and really looks out for all her residents, whether overnight or month to month. The park is just a dirt/pebble parking lot with full hookups, but it's perfectly clean, well-lit, and safe. The center row is pull-through if there's no other RV parked in the row behind it. The sites are close together but still easy to navigate. It's located on a quiet street next to a corner Shell station that has easy RV access. It's also reasonably quiet, although there are a lot of active 18-wheeler trucks across the street coming and going. We had our heat on the whole time so it wasn't a problem. When we had mechanical problems with our rig and had to stay another night, it was no problem and Naomi went out of her way to try to get us help. One good thing to know is that cash is preferred, otherwise you'll pay a credit card fee. There isn't much in the way of restaurants here (some closed during winter) but we ate dinner both nights at K-Bob's Steakhouse which was not bad.

Looked on this site and found this spot. I have to agree with all the others. This is a great spot for an overnight stay. The owner is exceptionally kind and friendly. She appreciates her “overnights”. We will stop here again...

I’m not sure why others have given this place such glowing reviews (in terms of stars) suitable for some of the nicer National Parks! This is a gravel parking lot behind a Shell station. The facilities are a “two star” at best but I gave it three because the owner is so nice and accommodating.
The sites are very narrow and can be hard to back into. Most sites appear to be occupied by long term residents who work in the nearby oil and gas fields. Kudos to the owner in her tenant selection however as the place was quiet and unusually tidy given the nature of the long term tenants.
The park is close to I-10 so it makes for an easy on and off for an overnight stay but far enough from the interstate that we were not bothered by any excessive road noise. There are parking lots in the area for overnight truck parking so there was some noise from those activities. Since this was February, it was a closed window night. I’m not sure how pleasant this would have been had we wanted the windows open at night.
The utilities worked fine and we had very fast Verizon internet capable of streaming HD video.
This is basically like camping in a Walmart parking lot with hookups. If you go in with those expectations you will not be disappointed. We would definitely stay here again for a one night overnight while traveling on I-10.

Not many amenities - no restrooms, no showers, no laundry. It's a level gravel lot with hookups. The owner is very kind, funny and accommodating. It is close to the main road of town and close to the highway entrance. You can easily walk to a gas station/mini-mart and a Chinese restaurant. The lot is very brightly lit at night.

I made a last minute reservation and was greeted by a very friendly response. Upon arrival the owner, Naomi, met me with a smile a a gleeful personality. She personally assisted me with locating and backing into my assigned space. This RV park is new and she is grateful for all her guests. You will usually find her watering her newly planted vegetation but is not to busy to answer questions regarding things to do or restaurants to go to locally. I will not hesitate to stay here again. Just off Interstate 10 with a gas station nearby that has the lowest gas prices locally.

We came in late for one night’s stay, having been given instructions over the phone by the owner. She made it easy for us to pull in and get settled. It’s a gravel, level lot with gardening efforts currently being made to make it more appealing. The full-time trailers are tidy. The location is good; right off the highway. We went a mile down the road to Pizza Hut for dinner, which was fine. The Honey Badger RV Park owner is very personable and chatted with us before we left; giving us lots of information on the area. I would recommend this site for a safe quiet night as you are passing through.

We called ahead to reserve a site. The lady who owns the park ( really nice and accommodating) took or name and said come on in. Level, clean and easy access. No bath house ect. She did make a nice area with a bbq she said we can use. Great for a stay over, the owner really cares about her place and it shows. Its newer and getting improvements. Its was so nice too see someone take pride and passion in their business.
