Nice to come out of snow in Pennsylvania to 60 degrees just before New Years.
Lake, Spanish Moss, good spacing between rigs and did I say warm?
BBQ grill and fire ring on our spot.

Stayed for a few days during the weekdays and I hear the noise picks up a good bit on weekends. Nice clean campground, very decent space between sites.
The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Just a great place.

We arrived a bit early yet the nice lady at the gate made us drive away off the property for an hour only to come back and check in.
The park was almost completely empty so that seemed a bit rude when we arrived tired and just wanted to get settled in.
Nice and clean with nice lake views.

Not far off the interstate highway but far enough to be quite. Few trees but nice room between sites.
Thanks Oregon!

This is the second time I have stayed here and loved it both times.
Can accommodate large rigs but had to unhook the van as only back in sites were available.
Water and 30 Amp at the site. Dump station on the way out.
Quiet and breathing being right on the Snake River.

We stopped here for one night and it does fill up pretty well. There is descent space between camping spots, looks like mostly 50 Amp service but some areas are 30 Amp.
We were backed right on the lake or a very short walk. If your a rock painting kinda person then you’re going to love the beach! It’s nothing but small rocks that are rounded from centuries of waves.
There is a huge spread of painted rocks on the way to the beach so that’s interesting in itself.
The place is clean overall. Group water posts around. Sewer dump on your way out or in.
Besides the park fees they hit you with a $9.00 fee for entering in and out so I thought that was weird.
Seemed like everyone had a fire going in the fire-ring so it has smoke. If you don’t like that you should try and park close to the water and the wind will blow it mostly away.

Couple of days for a stopover here.
The lake is marshy and weedy along the banks so not a great place for being on the water.
Walk up spots are a good bit cheaper and in mid June there were plenty of spots open during the weekdays.
Plug in is only 30 Amp in a full hookup spot as well.
Sites are close together as well.

What a joke!
I couldn’t possibly fit into a spot they called a 45 Ft spot. Nothing more than a slightly wider spot than the road itself.

Death Valley is far more than a campground! It’s far more amazing than I imagined.
It was super windy today and when they say wind advisory…take it seriously!!
I have 4 bars on t-mobile but hardly any bandwidth. Streaming is impossible.

Yes you are camping right beside a highway about 10 feet away and that’s a bummer especially when loud cars or motorcycles go by but the flip side is your also parked right beside the ocean.
Getting down to the beach is very difficult as you have to traverse large sand covered rocks so it’s difficult with no safe access points.
