This place is stunning. Sprawling grassy area with a beautiful view of the water. I believe all the sites are grass, so they’re not always level, but we leveled our rig easily with blocks. We had no cell service (AT&T) but wifi worked well. Very low water pressure. Well off the freeway, so no road noise. Fire ring at each site and you can get a bin of wood for $10. They were happy to deliver it to our site for us. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. We will definitely be back.

We were greeted by Robert and Lisa, the owners of the campground. Very nice couple who also have a to go restaurant on property. They will deliver food to your camper, which is a plus. The office has a well stocked store. The sites are gravel and ours was very level. Lots of grass and areas to walk the dogs. There is also a small dog park. We noticed a number of mosquitoes when we first arrived, but they disappeared as it cooled down in the evening. Despite being only half a mile off the freeway, there was no traffic noise at all. Finally, 1880 Town is located at the same exit. Great stop for kids on the way to the campground. Will definitely be staying here again!

Huge park with great access from 80 (but no noise from the freeway). Easy, efficient and polite check in by Anna. Wide, level, sites and many had trees. Nice view of the mountains from the park. A casino and restaurant are right next door. There are grassy areas in the park (but they do not allow dogs on the grass). I used the laundry room which was neat and clean, but the machines seemed a bit old and worn out. The first washing machine I used did not drain completely, so I used a different machine to run the load through another cycle. The dryer was great, but someone else who was doing laundry said his machine never warmed up. A loud vehicle in the park woke us up around 6:30. Another reviewer said some of the folks who live there get up early to go to work, so I’m assuming that was what we heard. Overall, very nice park. We will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed here one night and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Cute little campground. We were greeted at check in and directed to our site. Stayed in a pull thru gravel site that was nice and level. Enjoyed a lovely evening sitting outside. No bugs except for some fireflies. Would stay here again!

At first, we were very disappointed. Campground is behind a motel and our site was VERY tight. Took us a couple of tries to squeeze our 28 ft. RV in the spot. Eventually had to turn it around and drag power, etc. under the rig to hook up. The spots for bigger RVs looked roomier. Not a lot to look at from the site. You can see Mt. Rushmore from the parking lot. Okay, here are the pluses: easy walk to a breakfast place, laundromat, all downtown shops, attractions and restaurants, zero road noise and a very short drive to Mt. Rushmore. The place kind of grew on us honestly. I would recommend it if you want to enjoy the town, attractions, etc. and not spend a lot of time at your site.
We liked this campground. Close to the freeway. Easy check in. Cute. Lots of grass for our dogs. A little road noise, but not bad. Good hook ups and easy in and out. Would like to stay here in warmer weather and check out the pool. They have a nice music stage too.

Great campground! Large grass areas for dogs, pool, hot tubs, laundry facilities and large level sites. Very nice staff. Check in was quick and easy. Just off the freeway, but far enough to minimize traffic noise. Would definitely stay here again!

I called to make a reservation and they said that they no longer take reservations, but to just call in the morning to check availability. I did that and was told they had plenty of spots, so we headed to the campground. Easy self check in. We paid $40 for an easy pull through spot. I believe the back ins are $35. Easy hookups, plenty of space, picnic table and level gravel spots. They have a dog run that is mostly gravel, but has some wispy grass too. We have stayed in some sketchy campgrounds. This campground is definitely not sketchy. Would definitely stay here again.
