Convenient to I15 south of Nephi, off exit 222, new campground opened in July 2020. This is a family owned open site with many new tree plantings, luscious sod green area next to each site, with full hook ups and excellent WiFi. We arrived without reservations on Labor Day weekend with plenty of vacancies. Owner was very welcoming, invited us to pick our own spot, and although there are no fire pits, we travel with a Solo Rancher fire pit and were welcome to use it. There are showers, bathrooms and laundry, but we did not use any. Although a mile from the freeway, there was some road noise, but they have built a berm and with the growth of trees, this should be even further reduced. Great view of the mountains to the north and south. You leave your garbage bagged at your site and they pick up daily.

I had family stay here over Christmas while they visited our daughter who has cancer. Management gave us an additional “cancer” discount that was much appreciated. The park was clean and quiet except for the birds walking on top in the morning! Arrival was contactless with excellent information provided by management. Good cell service and wifi.

We stayed over Christmas holiday and it was fine until Dec 27 when parade of commercial haulers started trucking on E Cottonwood Canyon road became a thoroughfare starting at 4:30am until around 2pm. . On Christmas, the new toys came out without instruction. Off road bikes came within 2 feet of our campsite spraying sand. Kid said it was his first time….. where was the adult who should have instructed the kid to stay away from campsites????

Beautiful views all around in a quiet environment right off highway No signs against overnite stays and plenty of room for truckers too.
Just stayed a night amongst 20+ side by side campers. Sites very close but campers were respectful and no noise before 8am. Some goat heads noted but mostly covered by fresh gravel. Numerous loose dogs although CG notes must be on no more than 6 ft leash. Always wonder why that doesn’t pertain to everyone!. Intermittent free internet and 2 bars Verizon cell service. Food and drink in cafe very good!

Wide open areas among tall spruce and quacking aspen trees and very quiet. There are mosquitoes there, so take a Thermacell or 2. There were several unoccupied campers in the meadows as well as Class A's and camper vans. Did not see any animals on site nor scat nearby, but spoke with another camper with a canvas top who left in concern about bears..none seen! It is at about 10, 400 feet elevation, so the lighter air did not encourage long hikes. We picked up about a handful of liter which was quite small compared to other BLM sites we have been.

This BLM site was very spacious and just a short drive on dirt/gravel road. There seems to be 2 separate areas… the first one you come to is treed and spacious and further down road 71 is a open meadow which appears to be a favorite. It is a dark sky area, but even near the trees the sky is vivid! Area we camped in was clean with established fire. If you NEED tv, there were 15 channels available OTA. Paid $10 at Canyon Motel&RV park for 35 g of water and $2.50 a bag for garbage dump. There is a fair bit of road noise in the first area from hwy 64 that leads to the Grand Canyon. Big variety of TTs and camper vans.

Excellent full hook ups at site with 50, 30 and 20 amp. New electric poles, wifi access, but being farthest from access point, only 2 bars. No Verizon service, but 2 bars on T Mobile, but not enough to support streaming. Very clean restroom/showers. Relatively level site. They have some hiking trails but due to severe storms this evening, did not access. The Coal Creek flooded and it was very interesting to hear the sound of rushing water nearby (no danger at the campground). Camp hosts were friendly and informative.

There was nothing available in Medora and we intended to boondock around the TRNP but with temps reaching closer to 100, we needed electric for air. Had tickets for the 5:30 Medora Musicsl and thought we would park, then drive back into town for the show but after 1 mile on severe washboard gravel road, we gave up on going back on that road 3 more times! There is no shade here and yes, the scenery is wild and remote with accompanying flies. But we have electric! Bar was open but restaurant is not. Sites are close together but no one is here, yet burly man came around in a pick up and informed us we parked the wrong way!
