The sites, like most COE's are very large with some shade. We got a space that led to the lake/reservoir, but warnings all over regarding zebra mussels and poisonous algae. Many walking trails along the lake. Beach area closed due to the algae. I think we were there during spider mating season as there were many long jawed orb weavers everywhere and the doors to the restrooms and laundry were covered in webs. Also many little flying bugs! When I opened a dryer, a mouse flew out from underneath....but the machines were near brand new and excellent. Very quiet area. Be sure to walk the historic bridge in the park.

We camped parallel to the river and the sound was awesome. Good weather so no concern about flooding. Long road in on washboard gravel, but worth it.

The drive in is full of pot holes..go slow. Although we had reservations, our site did not have our reserve status on it. Saw ranger once in 3 days. We had a large site with a beautiful view of the forest, mountains and meadows. It was very quiet during our stay, but neighbors said the locals inhabit the place on the weekend and are know to whoop it up. No camp host.

Communication with the owner Brett was superb and concise. We had #22, a pull though with full hookups. We were cautioned to not use our pressure regulator as they have 30lbs from a clean well. We did use our filters just in case. The shower was immaculate with plenty of hot water. Adequate space with little green belt between sites. Laundry room very clean and washers cost $3.00. Dryers area $.25 for 5 minutes. I used a dollar to dry most of my clothing. Propane is not available. It was soooo quiet! I would definitely come back again….and stay longer!

We like to come here yearly and have never been disappointed. A fire a few years ago blackened the area, but it is now greening up. Many new trees have been planted and promises to offer more shade in years to come. Quite a windstorm came thru late afternoon and during the night and did give our interior quite a layer of sand, but this is a desert area. Cell service is excellent and there is Viasat wifi available in some areas. Sites are spacious, level and spaced quite far apart. Reliable water and electric 30 and 50 amp. Several coyotes visited early in the evening and provided quite a chorus! Since we have a yearly Nevada camp pass, fee is only $10 for hookups. Ranger was at our site near immediate to collect fee, saving us a return to the entrance to pay, very convenient!

Few campers here and very spread out. Area was relatively level. Good cell service and very quiet. Was approached by a fellow camper who advised us we left our lights on. Decent folks around! Noted a few loose dogs and this would have concerned me if we had dogs with us.

Arrived without reservation but accommodated in fairly level site. No Verizon service but the do provide a good wifi. Our site. #5c had 30 amp and water, but site plug had an open ground from a broken plug. Hooked up electric to next site unused. Camping fee is $40/ nite with a $2 discount for the daily pool fee of $10 instead of 12/ day. Many children under 10 in water with parents. Gave 4 stars because of that. Both hot and warm pools refreshing and clean. Lots of birds in the nearby trees chattering.

Campground was quiet and filled for thanksgiving holiday. Good water and electric hook up. Sites clean and camp Host was in washrooms 2-3 times a day. Noticed big change in campers with aggressive search for campsites starting at 7:30 am. We relocated From another site and had people at our site at 8am putting their crap in our site..... including removing our table cloth and putting theirs on!! I have never encountered such rudeness and aggressiveness at a campground.

We stayed here twice with a break of 3 days in between. Sites 69 and 70 are separated by a large grassy area which seemed to be used by lots of dogs. Blacktop sites quite level. Although advertised sites are a specific price, no discount was actually applied for Good Sam or any others, but receptionist said it was ‘built in’ on the computer. Weekend prices are higher, like a hotel! If you use the laundromat, you will need to put in a $10 just for the electronic card, then you need to add money onto the card to use in the washers and dryers ($2.50 for 30 mi wash and same for 60 min dryer.) receptionist will refund your $10 if the card has an * on it, otherwise its a $5 refund. No other refunds if you still have money on the card. No where is this written at the laundromat….you just have to figure out why you got screwed on that first $10!! Casino has a restaurant, but food is mediocre at best. Did encounter a very long black snake, non poisonous, near office steps. Picnic tables are plastic coated and the sun has damaged some, use a towel for comfort. Bathrooms were clean. Water pressure was very low. Hubby did not use a filter when filling our fresh water tank and we did get a fair bit of sandy sediment in the tank. They have wifi, but it kept dropping.

We stayed on the grounds for a motorhome rally and the goathead population was unreasonable. Stickers were everywhere and imbedded in our shoes. You could flick the goatheads off, but the stickers remained in our shoes like pins. They got in our motorhome even though we were very careful. Our dogs wore shoes, but we saw some that could not even walk! There is a race track also on the grounds and racing went on most every night.won’t be back here..ever. The bathrooms were clean.
