Free for up to 14 days, just check in with the camp host. Sites are fairly level. Despite there being a few dozen groups here, my spot felt private and was quiet. I didn’t have to go very far back to avoid hearing any of the cars on the 95. You can see the lights on highway 10 at night but there is still really great star gazing. Only about 3 miles to get to the town of Quartzsite for gas or a little bite to eat. but the nearest real grocery stores are going to be out of town so come stocked if you plan to stay for more then a night.
Nearby “pit stop” has cheap dump station too.
As far as cell coverage- I use Metro PCS which is powered by TMobile and I was getting good cell and fast internet!

We camped here two months ago, and again this past weekend. What a difference! In March, it was packed wall to wall. I found it hard to get a spot where I wouldn't be disturbing others.
This past weekend, we were the ONLY ONES HERE! It was lovely. My daughter and granddaughter were able to fly kites.

We stayed just one night but it was nice and quiet with super easy access from 95. The area is essentially a very large flat piece of desert gravel with many fire pits scattered all around the area. There were only about 25 rigs in the place when we stayed in mid November but this place can easily handle several hundred. This is pure dry camping so no water, power, sewer or garbage. We will likely try to stay here again for the Big Tent in February.

Easy access from Hwy 95. This camping spot is just off the highway, so there is some road noise. It's about 3 miles north of Quartzsite so if you need supplies, restaurants, church, or repairs, you can find them close by. No large stores, but the convenience market has a great produce section, and even fresh meats. When you pull into Hi-Jolly, a BLM host will give you a window sticker good for 14 days. Then you just drive back as far as you want to go and find a spot to park. The place is pretty level, and had lots of fire pits made from rocks. There were about 25 motorhome or trailers set up when we pulled in. There were even a couple of tent campers. We did not have any trouble finding a spot to set up. The wind did blow quite steadily for the first 2 days. After that, it slowed down to a reasonable amount. The ATV trails were at the back of the camping area, with trails pretty well marked. We will definitely be back.

Our first boondocking attempt after having solar installed. We stayed on the front right side. Not very crowded in the front. Only trade off is some hwy noise. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Close to town and the RV pit stop. You can get water and dump for a fee. They did stop taking trash as it was the end of the winter busy season. That was the only difficulty was getting rid of your trash.

Truly the highway noise is minimal. Great BLM host. Close to Quartzsite. Everyone seemed respectful of generator noise too

Great location. Great AT&T cell coverage throughout the site. Fire rings at most sites. Highway noise only a slight annoyance. Good location for ATVers.

Easy access of the 95. Road and sites are gravel. Lots of open space and easy to level. Many rock fire rings already in place. Good Verizon signal. Able to talk, text and stream videos. Would definitely stay again.

First stop on my adventure,
well what can you say, coming from san diego at least campgrounds are open here (1/2021) plenty of spots to park , would say best bet is to park at front of area and walk/bike/ride to pick a spot, not as large as i thought it would be ,but no problem finding a spot
basically big gravel lot close to town, good free area to explore and test out your rig, if your like me and just want to get out and run thru your equipment and sort out what you really need?!
