This was our first experience with BLM and it was good.
* It is a large hard packed dirt lot, probably the size of two adjacent football fields;
* It has trash garage cans in all four corners;
* big rig friendly, probably could fit 30+ rigs in here;
* approximately quarter mile off of US 62/180 but I never noticed road noise at night;
* We used this site because it was between two National parks, Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Park;
* Carlsbad is approximately 30 miles away with plenty of restaurants and markets;
* no over the air TV channels available;
* can be breezy in the afternoons.

We came in from the south, off of CO14 and that was an 'interesting' drive on dirt road. There are some tight turns but hardly any traffic so you can use the full road width.

PROs:
* Beautiful area at elevation of 8940 ft,, the pines and aspens are breath-taking;
* Rode around the Red Feather Lakes area and it was small with historic sites run by the National Historic Society;
* We received good enough Verizon for streaming;
* We used the pull off at the Call Box since lots of people in other sites.

CONs:
* High volume of traffic going by during the day, lots of people pulling their OHVs or RVs going up further on the road;
* No gas or market close by, apparently Fort Collins is approximately 50 miles away;
* This site could be a problem if there is rain storms so we kept an eye on weather forecast.

The Camp Hosts made our experience at the Horsehead loop wonderful - super friendly and helpful. The pros:
* The sites were level and approx 40-50 ft away from your neighbor;
* There were some mature trees to help provide shade if you wanted to sit out;
* Only electric provided but dump and water provided at the park entrance;
* Close to Hot Springs so easy to get to town if needed (approx 10 -15 miles);
* Showers always had warm water, good pressure and always clean!
* good bike path for cycling miles and miles;
* beach area is accessible;
* The camp hosts were super! Too bad for us as consumers that they are retiring but good for them!
The cons:
* the bugs were really a factor, lots of mosquitoes and tiniest bugs by the thousands;
* Connectivity was great in the early mornings but really slow download speed during the day, at least on Sunday.

We came in June 10th and it was when a heat wave hit the area. So, too hot (over 100) and high winds motivated us to move on the following day. Delta (closest town) about 13 miles away and super quiet as our site (not level) was about 1.5 miles off the main road. We would try this again if the opportunity provides it to us.

We have nothing negative to say about this park. We plan on coming back next year for two weeks instead of just 4 nights!
* Small park, maybe 12 sites and a few of those are people staying for 3 months (winter Texans);
* The camp hosts Ken and Annette were wonderful - very welcoming and helpful and full of great information for the town of Teralingua and surrounding area;
* This park is right outside of Big Bend National Park - how cool is that!
* The town has an excellent small grocery mart and several good restaurants;
* The sites are close to each other but have full hook ups. There is an onsite shower house that is AWESOME, unbelievable that is is made available to the renters!
* Very quiet park and the road noise is a non issue at night.
* This park had super fast WiFi, 5G was screaming!

Approximately 11 miles from the Canyon VIsitor Center, we were lucky to grab a site as there were very few. The GPS coordinates for this site is 40.35801, -109.02934.
We had to spend time jockeying our trailer in and the site was not level so bring blocks. BUT well worth our effort, the views are stunning.

The dirt road was easy to navigate, just the road getting into the site was rutty.
We explored the town of Vernal, Utah and so much more to explore (Dinosaur National Monument, Dinosaur Quarry, Harper's Corner trail and so many overlooks.

It is windy on some days, rained one day (and temp dropped to 48 degrees), hailed but there were days of sunshine and warm (but buggy so we used our gazebo)!

Best boon-docking we've ever done!

We stayed through the Christmas holiday and this park is associated with Mission Bell RV Resort. Mostly long term people but certainly has availability for those of us moving through.

PROs:
* Super friendly and helpful staff, from the camp hosts to the folks in the office;
* Full hooks up on grass but cement pad to set up patio or park your extra car;
* You are right in the middle of the city so plenty of opportunities for grocery markets or jumping on the major highways/Interstate to get to points of interest;
* I was comfortable in riding the bike or walking within the park or Mission Bell right across the street;
* Both locations have a lot of activities during the day and evening for those who want to hang around. Pool, scuffle board, big dance building, etc.

CONs:
* If you are sensitive to highway noise, the park is right next to business route 83 so there is traffic noise all the time;
* can be tricky getting into your site although the staff will help get you rig parked.

We stayed on Dec 31st (New Years) and it was super quiet except at mid-night. Only two other RVs in the 8 slots marked 'RV Parking'.
The RV parking area was in front of their auto service area so it was not on a busy road so no road noise.
And no semi's came in during the night.
Lots of restaurants in walking distance so we went out for pizza, which was super!
We had a great experience at this Walmart.

The campground was easy to access from I94 but we couldn't hear traffic from I94. We used this park as a way to explore the entire Theodore Roosevelt National Park so it served our needs:
* Easy to get to the park;
* It was very close to WalMart;
* The staff and owner were extremely friendly and so accommodating with receiving an Amazon order, sending mail out, washing the RV, helping out with needed lumber for a project, etc.;
* Like many private campgrounds, the utility posts are shared so campers park in alternating directions, meaning that your seating area outside is also shared with the adjacent camper. Privacy of course is minimal but we were seldom around so this was not an issue;
* Utilities worked great (sites are full hook up);
* The bathhouse was very clean and well-maintained;
* We didn't use the laundry but it also looked clean;
* The park has several sections including areas with mobile homes and long-term RV parking, but those areas were segregated from the space for the traveling RVers;
* The entire park was clean and felt completely safe and family-friendly;
* Since the park is located within Dickinson there was blazing fast internet access.

We were passing through and stopped for one night.

This is a very basic rv park next to I-40.

The gentleman at the desk was friendly and nice. We didn't look at the shower or bathroom facilities but included with no extra fee.

The WiFi worked well, and it has laundry facilities. The site was level and easy to pull into but no view, tightly packed sites.

Noisy with I40 close and local traffic busy.

A good, clean place for an overnight!
