We were comp'd a site for free from Patterson RV but it looks like the site we were in would be $69 / night. The sites are level, clean, with E/W/S facilities.
The bathhouse / laundry facilities were SUPER clean and lots of washers and dryers.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend this park for families, because of all the activities for families.
Fairly close to everything in Wichita Falls so all and all, we definitely would stay here again if coming through this part of the country.

We were passing through and stopped for one night.

This is a very basic rv park next to I-40.

The gentleman at the desk was friendly and nice. We didn't look at the shower or bathroom facilities but included with no extra fee.

The WiFi worked well, and it has laundry facilities. The site was level and easy to pull into but no view, tightly packed sites.

Noisy with I40 close and local traffic busy.

A good, clean place for an overnight!

We just retired and became full timers and needed to set up our domicile in Florida. This park helped us to that end and was certainly cost effective for full hook ups.

PROs
* SmartWeigh is available to schedule (weighing each tire base on the rig) so a big plus to get that accomplished!
* Very cost effective park to stay at for a month - paid the electric separate;
* many large old shade trees at many of the sites which really helped us during the hot October on record!
* There are many folks who 'lease' their sites so that results in a sense of community at this park;
* Wonderful lending library, a full room of books made available which we took advantage of;
* Sites are close to a cypress swamp which afforded us to lots of animal life (river otters, birds of prey, egrets, ibis' - no sightings of any alligators);
* super friendly staff;
* close to biking/walking trail (Withalachoee) which was approximately 46 miles long;
* close to Fort Cooper for bird walks on their nature trails;
* close to town of Bushnell which has most everything needed
* wonderful laundry facilities that are very cost effective!
* availability of propane fill on site;
* property next to the park is owned by a person to gives refuge to homeless donkeys (herd of 11) that are super friendly and love apples and carrots.

CONS
* the interior roads have lots of pot holes;
* close to a mining operation so there is truck activity early in the morning (starting at 5 a.m.) that can be heard if parked close to County Road 673.

This campground was good and we would come back.

PROs
* interior roads are well paved;
* good spacing between the sites and nice mature trees;
* staff were friendly at check in;
* were able to get over the air television;
* this park is out in the country so there will be some driving to get places. We were able to explore Mobile and the Gulf Shores.

CONs
* our only complaint would be that there was no connectivity from about 7 a.m. until late at night.

This SP is relatively easy to access from US13 and the Lakeview loop we stayed in had FHs. Site was level and easy to back into.
PROs:
* We had purchased the yearly Colorado State Park pass before we left Arizona so we didn't have to pay the $9 a day SP entry fee;
* Lots of room between the sites, site was level, had a shade, bench and firepit;
* Many trash dumpsters available in the loop;
* If needed, large shower that looked to be pay to use but super clean;
* The 'lake' or reservoir level was very, very low, we only saw one boat out for fishing;
* This SP is close to Rifle Falls State Park and Harvey Gap State Park;
* Town of Rifle has everything anyone needs (grocery markets, laundrymats, restaurants, banks). The town is approximately 7 miles from this SP, slow drive so about 15 minutes;
* AWESOME views from any site in this park.

CONS:
* Absolutely no Verizon or AT&T coverage OR over the air TV available;
* Not able to utilize the lake (swimming) due to extreme low water level.

We stayed mid November for 3 days (Magnolia 1 loop) in hopes of sighting the manatees coming into the warmer fresh water and we were not disappointed! Was able to view 10-11 manatees because of the cold snap that rolled through!

PROs
* nice helpful staff;
* good hiking trails right in the park;
* okay biking the loops or can also go out on the walking trails;
* nice dark nights;
* fabulous walking boardwalks to view the fresh water springs, all the way down to where it meets the Suwannnee River;
* nice cafe with delicious BBQ!
* close to the town of Chiefland which has everything you need;
* full hookups was very cost effective if you are a Florida resident!
* didn't check out the shower facilities but know that they are available in each loop.

CONs
* in the interior roads, the trees need to be trimmed back, if you are in a tall rig, you are going to get branch rub as you go to your site;
* LARGE pot holes on the interior roads so go slow;
* absolutely NO connectivity, either internet or over the air TV.

This felt like a resort instead of a State Park - we really enjoyed our stay.

PROs
* sites are well shaded and level and easy to back into;
* staff were so helpful and friendly (volunteers included);
* lots of bike opportunities inside and outside the park
* many great hiking trails;
* less than a mile to get to a beautiful beach on the Gulf;
* good launching point to explore the Destin area - we made it to Eglin Air Base which was a high light for us;
* quiet at night despite the high number of sites.

No CONs to speak to.

We are sorry we couldn't stay longer.

The high light was the extensive set up they had for bird watching/viewing. Exceptional area, well worth coming back for this feature.
Good hiking trails as well.

The sites were muddy from the rain but not much of a problem as we had a pull through on a half circle.

We really, really enjoyed the Green Mountain Reseroir area, Kremmling and Silverthorne!

PROs:
* Site 11 was away from sites which was nice;
* Senior pass gave us 1/2 price for site ($8 booking fee throuugh RECREATION.GOV);
* Trash dumpsters, picnic table and fire pit;
* Views are really good from this site;
* AT&T worked ok in the mornings and evenings, no Verizon service;
* Kremmeling is 10 miles north, a cute small town. Groceries, restaurants and a GREAT coffee shop. We even left dollars at the Meat Market!
* Exploring the dam and Heeney area was cool!
* Spent couple of days south in Silverthorne (26 miles) and found an awesome restaurant for breakfast called Mountain Lyon - best breakfast ever!
* Drove the Williams Pass dirt road drive (couple miles from Willows CG on US 9), that was an adventure!

CONs:
* Site 11 and many over sites were EXTREMELY unlevel, we had to use every block and lumber we brought with us to get close to level.

We spent 3 nights at Site 34E in the Juniper loop and then moved to 28E (to stay longer). Some sites have electric, water available via spigots dispersed through the loops. Trash dumpsters available but no dump available.

PROS:
* Close to Canyons of the Ancients National Monument and Mesa Verde National Park;
* Close to Dolores and Cortez;
* SUPER nice camp hosts in both Pinon and Juniper loops;
* lots of trees and bushes between sites offering privacy;
* the bathrooms were super clean;
* quiet area but saying that, not many folks here;
* two hiking trail heads from the loops;

CONS:
* No dump;
* most sites not level;
* no showers available in the rest rooms.
