Nice place to camp - not far from interstate 81 - most sites have view of lake when leaves are off trees - bath house could use some TLC

Just plain fun! Old time feel, prices not too bad, food pretty good. If you are in the area it is a must do - even if it is just to take a photo.

What a fun place! Like all the signs say - SEE ROCK CITY - Expect to spend 2 hours. Lots of old time charm. Lots of walking. Lots to see here and in the surrounding area - You could make a week vacation within 50 miles of here.

Lovely area, expect to spend about 2 hours hiking the natural paths through the woods and cool rock formations. The gate and main building make it feel like the 1950's (I love that feeling). Price is very fair.

One of the most beautiful hikes I have taken around the devil's waterhole - nice camping, good size sites, several lakefront sites, several close restrooms...all good. Another state recreation area 5 miles away with a tower and good views for a quick visit is nice too and can see a castle on the way to it.

AWESOME!!! MUST GO HERE!!! Campground is SUPER but NO electricity or water hookups and only a pit toilet. Expect to spend at least 3 hours looking at the town - bring water to drink as only one water fountain and restroom at the front gate - views of the surrounding terrain are extremely beautiful.

Make SURE they will be open when you plan to visit - the gate may be locked and it is off the beaten path.

Lots smaller than you think it would be - in the middle of the city hustle and right there at Riverwalk (must do if in town) if you see this one you must go see the other missions in the area. Also see Brakenridge park!!! ride the kiddie train and see the Japanese Tea Gardens - expect to be in awe for at least an hour there!
