Worth the quick stop for a photo op
Just go after they close and it's free to take the picture..
Lucy is such an old-school kitschy tourist attraction. She was actually built all the way back in 1881as an advertisement to entice people to move to the area and to help bring tourists in. You can take a guided tour up a spiral staircase inside Lucy. Pretty good views of the Atlantic City skyline.
I can't believe that this has been around since the 1880s!!! And it used to be a hotel-- so cool. Fun fact: people used to think that Lucy was a boy, until she was determined to be a girl!
right on the main road - great photo op
Now all I need is Jasmine and a genie. ;)
We stopped. But Lucy was under construction. Sad face.
