This campground is great. Convenient to Rapid City and all the tourist things in the area. The sites have beautiful grass and are huge! Water pressure is great. 30 amp service. Cable and WiFi is great too. Owner Vicki is very accommodating. Easy access to I90.

The campground is nice. The sites are clean and large enough if you get a pull through. The sites are all rock and difficult to walk in if you are older plus in the summer the rocks get extremely hot. However, the reason I give it three stars is because the owner and staff are very unfriendly. You are not welcomed when you arrive. Instead you are given a litany of rules in a not so kind tone and told if you break any you’ll be thrown out. 🙄 we hadn’t even said anything. Just not very hospitable. But for a day it’s a clean place to stay, it will do.
The location is on the north east side of Cody so if you plan on going to Yellowstone, your in for quite a drive.
The entrance is wide enough unless you meet another truck. Going around the far turns would be fine except guests park their trucks partially in the road which makes turning quite difficult for a large rig.

We booked a months stay for $600.00 includes all utilities. We weren’t sure what day we would arrive but Rick was so helpful and had our site ready. The B row looks out over beautiful grasslands even though your on the side of the mountain at 10,000 feet. The sites are big enough for our 36’ 5th wheel and truck. However they are a bit narrow. They are also dirt and grass. The altitude takes a few days to get used to so eat blood building food to help your transition. The Hospitality House is an old hospital that is just beautiful. He took us on a tour a few days after our arrival. They are doing a beautiful job restoring it. They also give massages. There is a dog park being built that will have ample room for your pups to play. There are wild donkeys in the area that do meander into the campground on occasion. They are harmless and were left over from the gold miners. There is a laundry room that is clean with good running machines and a bathroom I haven’t been into.
There is plenty to do in the area.

This campsite is close to Klamath Falls, Lava Beds National and Crater Lake. The sites are large and easy to get into. There is a dump station with water. This is dry camping. Lovely lake with a boat launch and great place to fish or kayak.
The only negative is that there is a very fine dust that is difficult to keep out of your camper.

Wow, this place was awesome. There are several Mini campgrounds in Guernsey state park. We stayed in sandy point and it was lovely. It’s right on the lake so you look out your windows and the scene is beautiful! The sites are large and plenty of room to stretch out. The sites are gravel and relatively level. There are a few handicap sites that are all concrete. Now that covid is here you MUST reserve your spot but there were plenty.
We have a 36’ camper and had plenty of room for our truck and camper. There is a train but it didn’t bother us at all.

Very small campground that is right on the river. The sites have full hookups with great water pressure. The sites are quite small so it’s best to get The ones on the river. You can sit behind your rv and look out over the river which is splendid. The owners are absolutely delightful. We enjoyed our stay and would come again. Everything is super clean and well cared for. Lush landscaping with beautiful roses and huge trees. Right in town.

This is a wonderful campground. Many of the sites have trees and grass is everywhere. The sites are clean and it’s perfectly situated for exploring the area. The WiFi works but is quite slow however Verizon works great!
The campground is convenient to Montezuma Castle, Red Rock Crossing and the other well known places to visit. In the little town Camp Verde, there is another great find. Beasley Flat rd has river access and a day use area with picnic tables and such. It’s a free place to go swimming or kayaking or tubing. For kayaking, put in at white bridge.

This is a great campground. Electric and water at each site. A gorgeous lake and marina right at the campground. Paved streets and campsites. Super clean.

You can stay here for $1,145 For six months which is only about 7 dollars a night. The streets are paved so you don’t get dust in your camper every time people drive by. The campsites are very roomy and nearly everyone has a palm tree. There are tons of atv trails Leading straight out from the park. Petroglyphs are a short drive away. Garbage is picked up daily and propane twice a week right from your site. All you have to do is place it by the road. There is bingo once a week and several other things that go on as well as church every Sunday. All in all it’s a great place to winter over.
It’s a short drive to quartzsite Maybe about 15 minutes. But a small grocery store is within a mile of the campground. On Thursday and Friday there is a little farmers market between the campground and the grocery store. It’s nice to have easy access to fresh vegetables without driving to Quartzsite. Lots to do in the winter.

We arrived and walked up to the campground host site to see if there was any availability. The sign at the entrance stated it was full but there were only three campers there. The campground host site was filthy. Flies and junk everywhere, about 10+ pair of shoes scattered around the door. I knocked but there was no answer. One of the campers walked up and said to go to the marina. We walked to the marina and there was a couple there that I think were the hosts. They told us 2, 8, 9, 12 and 14 were taken. They told us to go pick out our site and once we were done come back and let them know which one. We said ok. We climbed in the trucks and drove through. The road is quite narrow with large trees. The first site we chose we couldn’t get in as we have a 35’ 5th wheel. So we tried the one on down. Finally after a lot of wiggling, we got the camper in. The woman host came over on her 4 wheeler and we told her the two sites And she said ok. She said they thought we had left and we said no just struggling to park. She said ok just come back and pay for the site when we are done. So we finished backing in the one and started trying to get the other camper in as there are two of us that travel together. While getting it parked, the man host came up and told us we were going to have to move the 1st camper that someone had just called and rented it. We told him but we told the woman which sites. He replied I’m the one with the computer, not her. It was such a snide tone. So I walked over and tried told him ok we would move but he again snidely said I told you to come back and let me know which sites. This was one that was rented. I said no this was not one he said was rented and recited back the ones he said was full. So we packed up and left. It could be a nice park it’s just not run well. The one camper has a large 6’ x 4’ tote that he’s holding his waste in. It felt sketchy so we just left. At $33 a night And no hook ups we felt there were better choices down the road. 10 miles on up the road Richardson Park Campground was the same price but with full hookups and an excellent host.
