The camp host was very friendly. Plan to drive about 1/2 mile on a gravel road to enter the main campground. The sites are a mix of full hookup and water/electrical facilities. Most sites are on grass, with reasonably side to side level grades. Plan to elevate front/rear.
The park can be messy during rain storms. A dump station is available.

With Passport America we paid $23/night for full hookups. It was like $4-$5 less for electric/water only. This campground has a clean bathroom and shower house, although I did not shower at it. Also had nice laundry facilities. Not much to do here for kids, but plenty of grass to play on.
Sites were plenty big for us and each had a picnic table. There is a little gravel road getting in here that gets a little muddy with rain, but I wouldn't be worried about driving my rig in here as there is still plenty of gravel.
Great location for checking out the North Black hills area. The owner/manager is really nice and she is impressive as she operates the whole place by herself (runs desk, cleans, maintenance, etc). You are off the interstate, but the traffic noise doesn't bother us

We used Three Flags as a basecamp for exploring the area as it's in a perfect central location. And the price, with PA, of $22 a night for the entire stay with full hookups was "Great". The park is located just off I90 and you can hear the sounds of the highway, and there is a train track that runs close by also, but it is not disturbing at all, at least to us. The park is well maintained and looks beautiful with al the green grass. The owner, Vickie is a jewel. So kind and helpful. She went above and beyond in helping us in many small and not so small ways during our stay. She operates the park alone and does a wonderful job. We will definitely stay here when in the area.

Easy to find, near rt. 90. Large sites, very well kept and mowed. Plenty of room to walk pets with much open lawn. Quiet access road coming in allows for extended walks. Quarter mile access road is unpaved, but wide, smooth and well maintained.
Clean Bathroom and shower. We travel in a 5th wheel, but this is a tenters paradise, many many open sites.
You can see rt 90...as well a rolling Dakota hills. Easy drives to all the local attractions without the congestion.
Very friendly owner manager

We stayed here while getting our South Dakota residency. It is only a few miles from Rapid City which made it a great location! It is also about an hour from Wind Cave National Park, Badlands National Park, and Mount Rushmore. The park is extremely well kept and the bathrooms were very clean! The owner was very nice and helpful at check in. The campground is more of just an open field, there is little shade, but all of the spots were very large. It is an RV Park rather than a campground but the price made it well worth it. Our price paid was using our 50% off with Passport America.
There was great signal here for working online. They have wifi but I did not try it I just used my own and got 30-40 download speed and 20 upload.

This was a nice campground, easy on/off I-90. Located very close to interstate. If road noise bothers you this is not the spot for you. We barely noticed it. Great location to visit Spearfish, Deadwood, Sturgis and Mt. Rushmore! The internet was good. Propane available. We did not use he showers or restrooms. We would definitely stay here again. We camped in 40’ fifth wheel, on pull through site, plenty of room for truck and 5th wheel.

I’m not typically a fan of RV parks and prefer boondocking. However, I needed some work done on my vehicle and the shop recommended this place. I’m so glad they did! Vickie is a jewel. She owns and operates the park herself and it’s clear she takes great pride in the park and her customer’s experiences. When I expressed concern my dogs might bark she offered me a great site down in the corner that was a little more private so they wouldn’t see other campers as much.
Sites are level, and well maintained. Anytime someone leaves she mows down the area and puts more gravel down if needed. The laundry room is very large and clean. There are showers too but I did not use those. This place is the perfect location to use as a basecamp to all the nearby attractions and also be close to Rapid City for groceries, etc. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

This campground is great. Convenient to Rapid City and all the tourist things in the area. The sites have beautiful grass and are huge! Water pressure is great. 30 amp service. Cable and WiFi is great too. Owner Vicki is very accommodating. Easy access to I90.

Extremely well kept campground close to an abundance of things to see and do. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. WiFi a bit weak but we had our own hotspots. Close to expressway but noise was not a problem Would highly recommend!

We arrived around 3pm, checked in and was taken to our site by a young lady (around 15 yrs old). There was no adult around but she did a great job. After setting up on site 15, we decided to head to town for errands and groceries. When we came back about 6:30, our power was out (apparently tripped) and in 90 degree weather, it was hot. My husband checked connections and plugged everything back in only to find we were pulling 16 amps, instead of 30. He went to the office and they came out to check the box. The lady explained that the wires are really old and are on "one line," and the further down the line you go, the less amps you will get...Okayyy! She asked us to move to site 17, which had 50 amps. Keep in mind, site 17 is at the end of "the line," but worked just fine. The park is clean, as is the laundry room, however, it is $2.50 for the washer and $2.25 for the dryer (most expensive wash/dry since we have been traveling). Additionally, you will hear the noise from the highway!
