“The best hotel in downtown Deadwood”
The Historic Bullock Hotel has the very best to offer in Downtown Deadwood. Located in the middle of all the Main Street action, the Historic Bullock offers gaming, an onsite restaurant "Bully's" for breakfast and lunch, special events and the historic, Seth's Cellar. Call us for our current schedule. Bully's Casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with new slots for you to enjoy. The hotel is said to be haunted by the ghost of the original owner, Seth Bullock, who died in 1919. While his ghost has been spotted many times, it is said that he is harmless and ghost tours are held regularly.
Jokes about this hotel being in Deadwood aside, the second and third floors of the Historic Bullock Hotel are said to be haunted. It is said that the ghost of Sheriff Seth Bullock roams the halls to ensure that the staff is working hard.
Sometimes he takes things into his own hands, literally, and moves things or turns water faucets or showers on.
We think the Historic Bullock Hotel is one of the most haunted places in America!
This hotel is awesome! The rooms are so, so tall and a little larger than a standard hotel room. WiFi is spotty, but cell phone service is decent in the rooms! The hotel is understaffed, IMO, but they do an amazing job keeping up with guests needs!
Be sure to take the Ghost Tour of the hotel.
