Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on May 14, 2023We stayed here for almost a week until it got too cold and we had to head farther south. We had planned on staying for a month and the rate would have been $375 including electricity which was great. They are offering a rate this low because the park has been purchased and is under active renovations to all the buildings, sites and facilities. It is a large park with long term and nightly spots. Long termers have full hookups. There are also a nice choice between pull through and back in and some spots abut the Verde River, the site was gravel and dirt, but very level. Totally easy access for any size rig and convenient to everything in Sedona from I-17. Wi-fi only available in the rec room so bring your own hotspot. Laundry was $1 to wash and $1 to dry. The only negative was a bumper crop of goathead thorns which are miserable, particularly for dogs. But, would stay here again.

We stopped in for 1 night for the Wi-Fi and laundry on our way from Tucson to the Grand Canyon. We found the Wi-Fi speed to be good and it did reach our campsite so that was a plus! The laundry room was nice and clean and it was only $1 to wash a load and $1 to dry. The park was about half full with several long term tenants. The people we met walking through the park were very friendly and nice. This park is going through renovations....one side of the park's bathrooms and showers had been newly renovated and the other side had not; the pool is also currently being renovated. Overall, the park was clean and quiet, had nice shaded campsites and was in a great location - only a few miles off of I-17.

The park new name is “Verde River RV Resort & Cottages”
Friendly staff and easy access. We pick a river front spot and it’s ok, the river about 100 yards from our spot. Garbage pick up by the park staff every morning between 8 to 11, the bathroom was clean. The park overall is very clean except Mother Nature blowing some type of white flower like Dandelions, make it hard to grill outside with those thing flying around (not a negative feedbacks, just provides the info)
The sewer drain is not in a good location. Way to the front of our spot (about 30ft to our drain spout) if we move the trailer up front, we don’t have much room left for the table and chairs after our truck park beside the trailer.

Just what the doc ordered! Easy access, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, off leash dog park that's subtly lit at night and quiet. Since park has just been done over, everything is new and cleaned regularly. Can you tell I love this place? The huge rec room with pool tables, shuffleboard, and tv is amazing as is the gym that even has the workout bands & rollers some of us older folks need. Didn't make it to the pool but looks great with tables/chairs and bbq area. There are cottonwood, pine, and maybe a mulberry so it's sometimes hard to keep nature's debris out of site, but worth it for all the above. Lots of activities, and the mini golf along the water at front was fun. We started in a river spot that was great but you need some agility to get to it. The back in river sites are in the full sun but if you like it warm it's a beautiful spot. We were having a/c issues so they let us move to a deluxe wooded site that is spectacular. Plenty of room for our slides on both sides, the awning was able to fully extend, they brought over a picnic table and this all fit our chairs and car too. They are working on the grass and then it will be perfect.

This is a very nice park with very nice amenities. The park is well laid out and the sites are long with plenty of room. The wi-fi was decent but Verizon signal was strong too. They have a nice pool and spa, the pool closes for winter but the spa is open all year and is really nice. At the entrance to the park is a very nice facility with a movie viewing room, a small fitness center and a billiards room. The restrooms, showers and laundry facilities are clean and very nice. They have a small mini-golf course on site as well. It’s a short trip to Sedona, which is a must see.

This is a wonderful campground. Many of the sites have trees and grass is everywhere. The sites are clean and it’s perfectly situated for exploring the area. The WiFi works but is quite slow however Verizon works great!
The campground is convenient to Montezuma Castle, Red Rock Crossing and the other well known places to visit. In the little town Camp Verde, there is another great find. Beasley Flat rd has river access and a day use area with picnic tables and such. It’s a free place to go swimming or kayaking or tubing. For kayaking, put in at white bridge.

Our experience was not a pleasant one. I won't go on much of a rant BUT to explain a bit what had happened at the bottom if you care to read.
Pros: You can walk to the river. Plenty of room for doggos. Laundry was close (and clean). GREAT location. Views are good. Cell signal was good also. Level sites.
Cons: Too many rules - front & back of paper full of them. Rude staff.
*Most amenities were closed - we were there during the COVID situation.
Rant: We arrived late. Husband was hooking up water. Broke the PVC putting the lid back on their water contraption. We tried to fix it but we had the wrong PVC size. Called their emergency number because water was spewing EVERYWHERE. Lady was rude and irritated (I get it, I didn't want to be dealing with this at 10pm either). They arrived. Had an attitude like a cranky 5 year old. Asked if they needed help holding a flashlight or anything. They told me to move and said "Nope! I got it. Thanks." So I went inside and let them do their thing... 10 minutes later they knocked and said we had to move our RV up because we are over the 'line' in the back and they needed to 'mow.'
Next day. We got called again. Told to move up... again. They are going to mow. We moved up, reluctantly (it was MAYBE 2ft...)
They mowed the day before we left and the kicker?! The guy mowing the DIRT hit our RV patio!!! Ran right into it!! No damage but STILL!! Pay attention. Then he denied it... It just wasn't our type of park.

It was our first time staying in a RV Resort and it did not disappoint. The amenities were clean, large pool, nice river views and friendly staff. The only issue we had was poor WiFi connections. Other than that, good experience.
