This is a very nice park near Duluth, MN. We stayed here for 4 nights in August 2018. We were in site 55 with a front view of one of their 3 ponds. They take cash or check only. The man I dealt with was very nice. Our site was back in, very level gravel pad, FHU 50 amp, picnic table and a good size site. Our Verizon was 3 bars 4G, their wifi was pretty decent. It was very quiet at this campground. There are quite a few full-time and/or seasonal residents but their sites are well maintained. The clubhouse has a pool table, bathrooms and showers were very clean, laundry room is also clean with 3 washers, 3 dryers at $1.25 each.

The TWO RV Park in Port O'Connor, Texas was our home for Dec. 2018 and Jan. 2019. Port O'Connor, or locally known as POC, is a small fishing town that was rather quiet while we were there but the RV park was pretty full. Their rates are very reasonable.
Our site was level gravel with a wooden patio and plants on each side. Wifi was fair but cable was good. We had water (wasn't drinkable), 50 amp power and sewer. The owers were very friendly.
While we were there it was sold to new owners who said they had lots of plans for improvement, which is wonderful because the place needs some TLC. I can see on their Facebook page they are becoming very active with events - so good to see! It is a very popular place for fishing. We strolled the streets of town quite a bit.
There is a fairly decent market just a few blocks away but other than that you have to drive about a half hour to Port Lavaca or an hour to Victoria. All in all we liked the place.

Lake Medina RV Resort – Lakehills, TX
We stayed in site 89 for a few days in early August 2020. The drive to the park has a couple of rather steep hills that are on the small roads leading in. The folks in the office were friendly and very safe pandemicly (I made that up). The park is surrounded by Lake Medina with many trees. There was lots of activity in the water and many deer in the park. Our site 89 was FHU, 20/30/50 amp, basic cable, free WiFi (fair), gravel pad, huge, long and we loved being under all the trees! We had a brick patio and picnic table. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry facilities. There are some hiking trails but we did not walk them. Unfortunately we had to leave early to get the brakes on our motorhome fixed. We would stay here again.

We were here for 5 nights in August 2020. We were in back-in site 20, which was level, shaded and plenty wide and long enough for our 35’ MH and tow car. The pads are gravel with a paved pad for picnic table. There are a lot of pull through sites that are plenty long for big rigs and not tight together. They have FHU, great cable and very decent WiFi. Verizon cell service was 4G 4 bars. The fulltime and long-term folks are over in a different section. The park is on the Wichita River, has lots of ducks and geese that like the pond there and there are lots of kitschy things around the park. They have a pool, laundry and bathhouses - all clean. I did not meet any staff as they had contactless check-in – your paperwork is taped to the office door. There is plenty of shopping all around. We took a lovely hike through Lucy Park and saw the beautiful Wichita Falls. We would go back to this very nice park.

This is a nice park with mostly mesquite trees. It is close to San Antonio and Corpus Christi. The park is VERY quiet. Most of the campers appear to be refinery workers. We rarely saw anyone out and about. There is a dog park and a playground. Sites have FHU with 50 amp. They are spacious lots but there are no picnic tables, fire rings and not too level. They have gravel parking pads.
There are 2 Wi-Fi towers but service slowed down significantly at night. They have mail slots so you can have your packages/mail delivered there. They take great care of the property. Jeff, the owner, is a very caring, helpful person.
There is a laundry room with 5 washer/dryers. Wash is $2.50, Dry is $1.50. Unfortunately they only take tokens and the dryers took 2 cycles to dry.
There are great sunsets from the park! To the east is a large Valero refinery that is visible in the distance but it actually looks nice at night.

We stayed here for a week in early June 2019. This is a campground on a lake that has a boat ramp, boat rentals and water sports, coffee shop and a pub. We had site A5 that was waterfront, paved, FHU 30/50 amp, with a picnic table and fire ring. The size of the site was fair. We went to the pub for beers and snacks/dinners quite a few times. Staff in the office and pub were great! They take Good Sams.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early March of 2019. This is a small campground that is located at a privately owned, amazing cavern. There are a full pull-thru spots in a gravel parking lot. We had 30/50 power and water only. Sites are close together. There was no WiFi or cable and Verizon 4G was 2 bars. We were on the end with a small treed area on the driver’s side, which was nice. We had plenty of room for our 35’ MH and tow. There are peacocks that reside at the campground and they have a feeding station that draws the peacocks and quite a number of deer. The campground was sufficient for our visit. It was very quiet there.
We were there for the caverns, which were spectacular and amazing!! Unlike most caverns they were warm. The tour was excellent! If you like caverns you should see this one! If you’ve never been to a cavern, you should see this one!

Provo, UT – Lakeside RV
We stayed at this campground for a week in June 2018 as a base for different places we wanted to visit. All the RV sites are pull through with every other one facing one way and the others facing the opposite direction. This meant that your door sides faced each other and you had to share the small patch of grass between sites. We found that uncomfortable. The campground is well maintained on a road that is not very loud but the Provo airport is quite close. The office staff was OK. Laundry room was small but clean, 5 washers and 6 dryers, costs $2.00 wash and 3.50 dryer. Site pads are gravel. We had FHU, 50 amp, cable/dish TV and WiFi, although the WiFi was weak. We were in site G3, which was very level. People came and left frequently but there are some that appear to be full-timers (well maintained). The pool was busy with kids. Within walking distance is a Utah State Park and also a nice walking trail just outside of the SP.

We stayed here in mid-June for 3 nights. We chose this park for its location close to highway 15 and distance to Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone NP. Our site was FHU, 50 amp, very level, pull-through gravel pad with grass, picnic table and fire ring. We were in site B15 with only 1 site next to us. It was plenty long enough for our 35’ MH and toad. We were not terribly close to our neighbor. Wifi was actually pretty good, Verizon cell service was 4G 4 bars, staff was very friendly. They have pancake breakfast every morning. There is a pool and hot tub and playground. Price was $53/night with Good Sam’s.
