Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 03, 2021We stayed here for an extended period of time while visiting family. Overall, this was a nice park. The spot we stayed in was fairly level. The grounds were well kept. The laundry facility was clean and functional. The bathrooms were well maintained as well. The park hosts were friendly and accommodating.
The WiFi here was actually excellent. It's the best I've experienced yet at an RV park. Cell phone coverage was also very good.
Two negative things of note. One, the water is very saturated with iron, as to be expected for the area. However, we were not expecting to contend with the iron stains in the sinks and shower of our RV. Lots of cleaning was required to keep things from looking dingy. Two, the park is next to an active rock quarry. It was mostly quiet, but the last two days large machines were working on the other side of the ridge from our site. A site closer to the entrance may have been a better choice to keep the noise down.
Those negatives aside, I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a very nice park near Duluth, MN. We stayed here for 4 nights in August 2018. We were in site 55 with a front view of one of their 3 ponds. They take cash or check only. The man I dealt with was very nice. Our site was back in, very level gravel pad, FHU 50 amp, picnic table and a good size site. Our Verizon was 3 bars 4G, their wifi was pretty decent. It was very quiet at this campground. There are quite a few full-time and/or seasonal residents but their sites are well maintained. The clubhouse has a pool table, bathrooms and showers were very clean, laundry room is also clean with 3 washers, 3 dryers at $1.25 each.

This campground isn't bad, but it's pretty far from all the things to do. The owners really care about this place, because they had a lot of little projects going on when we were there. Our site wasn't completely level, but no biggie. The dump was kinda far away though, but we were able to manage. It was hotter than sin during our stay here but there are trails and lakes on the property.
if you're looking for something laid back and quiet, and you don't mind the 25 min drive into Duluth, then it's a good spot for a base camp. Next time though, we would try to get a spot somewhere in Two Harbors as that area was really neat.
The water must be really bad here as others have indicated, because everyone was using the club house showers! Even those with RV's. It was super strange. we just connected to the water and didn't have any issues with crazy iron stains.

Well Maintained park, with ponds, and great hiking trails. It is about 25 min to Duluth, but there are lots of stores, restaurants, gas stations in Hermantown where it's located.
We drove up to Duluth and our original campground had double booked the site and we had no where to go for 3 weeks. Of course it was the height of the busy season so everyone was booked. The owners were able to move things around and we stayed the entire trip. I am so thankful for their hospitality.
The sites are nice large lots, it was quiet and everyone was friendly. We loved hiking trails, there are many of them and our dogs could not get enough of them.
The water is an issue, but just need a good filter to help.
AT&T signal was great, had no issues at all and I work from the road, so very important.
Whenever I come back to this area I will definitely stay here again.

Great little place for large rigs of all sizes. We had a 42 footer and was in a pull through. Full hook up with sewer and 50amps. Near a private lake. Caught lots of bass, sunnies, and northerns. They offered paddle boats for no additional charge and provided life jackets!
Not a lot of privacy, but your usual RV park. I would visit again. The only thing we didn’t like so much was the city water. It flowed in a little brown even with our filters. Wasn’t a huge deal breaker for us since we brought our own water for cooking. Location is close to shopping and restaurants.

Very nice campground within a few miles of Duluth. Well kept and sites appear to be level with plenty of gravel. The hiking trails are extensive. The young lady that checked us in was a breath of fresh air. Can do attitude and a pleasant smile. We will stay here again, in fact on our way back home in a few weeks

We are a week into our 3 months at Red Pine Campground. The nightly rate is based off a monthly rate of $750 including electricity. The sites are grassy and fairly large. The campground is clean and well-maintained. Our site has been mowed twice in less than a week. The laundry facilities are very nice. Folks are friendly and the scenery is pretty with mature trees and several ponds. Easy access to Hwy 53, about 20 minutes to downtown Duluth, and only a couple minutes to a nice 9-hole golf course, a grocery store, and other services. The wifi is great for email and browsing.

The campground is in a secluded location near a couple of small lakes. It was quiet. We didn't hear any road noise... only an occasional distant tran whistle. There is a game room with bathroom facilities, showers, a kitchenette and laundry. All are very clean. The only issue we had was that our GPS directed us to the wrong location, but that's not the fault of the campground.

The customer service is awesome! We never heard "cannot do that". The campground is continually under improvements, as it is older. Sites level, leashed pets welcomed and space with green mowed grass between sites. Picnic table and campfire ring provided. Community room and entire campground very clean and maintained. Repairs made promptly. Showers are luxurious. Laundry with front loading machines and community area with pool table, TV, tables, books and games and puzzles. Our dog loved exploring the many trails with new smells daily. Hubby saw deer, eagles and other wildlife.
I wasn't thrilled with the neighbors sewer so close to the picnic table, but no smells. Just the idea.
