Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 10, 2020My friends and I RVing up the coast and needed to find a different spot after a few plans changed. We were able to swoop up 2 site one night with our passport america membership discount and I decided to stay a couple more days. There is Wifi, not the fastest but definitely not the worst I've found.
Everyone in the office is really friendly, it has a little coffee bar inside store/office, and a pub and pizza place within the park with outside seating. Sites are close together but organized in a way that doesn't feel like you are looking into each others rigs.
Not a bad drive into Coos bay and everyone is super friendly. Definitely would stay again. Also beautiful weather!

We stayed here for a week in early June 2019. This is a campground on a lake that has a boat ramp, boat rentals and water sports, coffee shop and a pub. We had site A5 that was waterfront, paved, FHU 30/50 amp, with a picnic table and fire ring. The size of the site was fair. We went to the pub for beers and snacks/dinners quite a few times. Staff in the office and pub were great! They take Good Sams.

We greatly enjoyed Osprey Point. Clean, peaceful and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a pizza and pub, laundry and arcade on the premises. We tried two different meals at the pizza and pub. Can’t say We
would eat there again but it was convenient. Overall, don’t pass this place up!

This place could be awesome. However, it is a run down, poorly maintained trailer park. We spent our 3 month stay leap frogging between flooded unsafe spots that were too small and the worst of all the RV parks we have stayed in, ever. I did offer to pay double for any more suitable spot. They do have nice paved spots, but those are reserved for the rare weekend that a person booked a year in advance on a holiday. So they will not rent those spots to anyone, for any rate.
The majority of tenants live in bumper pulls and 5th wheels. Many of the 5th wheels are non functional and have permanent wood ramps and stairs attached to their places. It's a glorified trailer park. The laundry room is dominated by the staff washing their cabin linens. The "bar" is a horrible bait and switch type place, awe yeah, a place to eat however, the food, horrible and staff mostly methed up.
I would not recommend this place if it was the last place to stay.

We stayed at Osprey Point at the end of August 2023. We had booked months in advance. Our plan was to stay in our 32' 5th Wheel in a site next to a cabin rented by our friends. I was concerned that the site was too small, but after numerous calls to the property, I was never able to speak with anyone.
When we arrived, we realized we were not going to fit. Even if the pad had been long enough, our slide out would have impacted the family living in the site next door. They had a pop-up trailer and a canopy. We spoke with management, and they said we could move to a lakeview site.
We pulled around to the site and found someone had parked their truck on the pad. Management was not willing to call a tow company. After waiting 3 hours, we set up in a different site. The next morning, we moved into our assigned spot. The site, A6, fit our rig nicely, was level and had a great view of the lake. All of the sites seemed close to neighbors except A7, which seemed like the premier spot.
This property is run down and needs a lot of maintenance. The cabin our friends had reserved had a rotting deck and worn out furnishings. This park hosts a lot of full time residents.
We ate at the Pub one night and had excellent service and a pretty good meal.
Osprey Point Resort is adjacent to a county park that was a nice place to walk our dog.
While we found staff and the residents all very friendly, we won't be staying here again.

Clean, quiet and right on the water. It was beautiful. Big rig friendly. Very kid friendly with arcade and themed activities each night. Great stay
