There is electrical but no water hook ups, there is potable water by the pavilion the first one you passed by the flower garden. There is a sign that says portable water. There is a dump station too as you pass it on your left to go back to the campground. Really nice place

Nice and clean toilets nicely kept BLM. Just a note when using GPS it will tell you, you have arrived and you haven’t when coming from Carlsbad you will have to go to the next road after your GPS has told you, you have arrived make a right then you first right there is no sign for camp ground but take the road down a 1/2 mile and you will see the camp ground.. there are 5 RV or trailer spots and 6 tent spots clearly marked...

My husband is a veteran’s so we received a veteran’s discount but they are very reasonable priced. I can’t even begin to say what a great stay we had. Great hosts, shower were nice and clean so were the bathrooms, laundry you can’t beat the price 🧺, pool table, games, a library , DVD movies, 2 big screen T.V’s, pet friendly, full hook ups or partial hook ups, they have little cabin you can rent as well as RV’s. It’s close to the main road but it’s very quiet. they even have a happy hour. It’s perfectly located Bisbee is no more the 10 minutes away it’s a must see and tombstone is a 30-35 minute drive away and also close to Sierra vista. We miss them already. Thanks guys for a great stay...

I would say if your over 30 feet you might want to think twice before you do it!!! We arrived at around 3pm on the way up cars were going way to fast for the switch back I’m guess they watched a little to much fast and furious, my point is the road is busy until about 9:30pm so the best time is early morning in the week or late at night just because the other car just don’t seem to care and when they are parked on the road and your coming through with a camper they really don’t seem to care everyone in a hurry to get that spot. The campground has no even places to park and it hunting season so hunters have there campers already there, so places are hard to find, and let me tell it’s a busy little place cars coming in and out till about 10:30 after that it’s pretty quiet. I would go back but it would only be on a week day when traffics not so thick like on the weekend oh and lots oh off road motorcycles and ATV’s running all day. And no signal

We arrived with no reservations and the owner was very accommodating and friendly. There is 30 & 50 amp,water, and sewer connections. Even though it’s close to the road there was very little road noise. The campground is clean and very well laid out perfect location beautiful view of the mountains couldn’t of asked for a better spot. It’s just a 5-10 minute drive to town.

We stayed here 2 days and loved it , the road noise was not bad at all we were in the back part of the pullouts. There are no trash cans no toilets no water so remember to bring trash bags take out your trash with you that you bring in that was the one issue is there were cans all over the place with bullet holes in them. We with Verizon and only got one bar you could text and you could call but that was about all you could do which was good enough for us.

We camped at tranquil dis camping last year it was ok but the spaces were tight and we have a 20 foot trailer the only place for a big rig would be the first 2 spots.This was our first time at Hackle and there is lots of space for our 20 foot trailer. We would camp here again. Like usual people don’t seem to care to pick up after themselves, if we keep doing this then NO one will be able to enjoy free camping, do your part pick up after yourself, if you weren’t taught learn it’s not that hard.

Well maintained city park right off of I40 big rig friendly, really nice for an over night stop there’s not much around but there is a gas station. The bathrooms are nice and clean… we were close the road so it was a little noisy I think a spot at the back would be a little quieter.

We pulled in Sunday at about 2 took the road to the right to the 1st pullout. we have a 20 foot trailer and there was plenty of room I would suggest if you were a bigger rig to stay up a the top of the road. We did not go down 20 miles to the Hot Springs we stayed up on the road so I’m not sure what all is down there. We were the only ones out there.🙂 safford is a 29 minute drive and has everything you need there. You must see the historical part of safford. We collected 3 13 gallon bags of trash. 😩 come on people do your part so we can keep camping on BLM for free some of us depend on it...

Nice and clean bathrooms and showers. It was a great experience something completely different. It’s a must to stay, just remember the oil fields that are close by so you will smell sulfur can be strong at times. It’s a great place for the whole family
