Do not miss this stop if you're passing by. There's one of everything, two of some. Helicopters, Cars, Steam and antique tractors, snow mobiles, boats, blacksmith tools, thousands of historical artifacts, on and on. It's great for families. Say hi to Gil from me he's awesome πππΊπΈ
Ok first of all this park is not in the location specified here in RoadTrippers. It's much closer to the park, only 1 mile from the park entrance by mile marker 152. It's heavenly treed and a gorgeous natural setting. It's not big rig friendly. Over 25 ft you'll have trouble getting a site. Water and power available on some sites. A bargain at $32 this close to Glacier National Park. Nice washroom facilities and laundry. A great onsite breakfast cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday ππππππ±π·
Lovely state park on the shore of Rockport reservoir. No hook ups but very pretty campgrounds along the edge of the water. Only 12 bucks a night :))
This park is very new and built to a very high standard. All the facilities and amenities are excellent. It's adjacent to HWY 40 in Heber City, so it's not wilderness camping. Easy access. Huge grass dog park for Fido. Playground. Nice grass areas and tables beside each spot. No fire pit at each spot but a nice common area one. Beautiful private shower rooms.
These couple of bad reviews are giving this parking an unfairly low average rating. I have stayed at hundreds of parks and this is one of the nicest I've been in. It's very very well-maintained, sites are nice and large, the driveways are easy to navigate and there's tons of green space and beautiful big trees everywhere. It's right next to Highway nine but even the sites next to the highway are setback and I did not notice traffic noise overnight. There a playground area is a nice dog run plenty of places to walk your dog and private restrooms with showers. There's also a nice tent camping area if you're traveling light. Oh yeah and there's a pool and hot tub and it's 12 miles to Springdale and Zion national Park. Office is open late I think until 10 PM so if you don't like that online reservation system just call them. I'm a big fan and will definitely be back. @Airstreamin.
You wouldn't expect much considering where it is but this place is actually gorgeous. Pull into a power and water site for $14 a night and you're ready to go. The pictures say it all.
Considering this park is right in the middle of town and literally across the street from Graceland it is really really nice. There's a beautiful wooded area connected to the park or you can walk your dog or let the kids run around and burn off some steam. The good Sam rates are under $50 a night which I felt was a bargain considering the convenient location. It's only five or 6 miles from here down to Beale Street and the central part of Memphis. I've stayed here two times and would definitely recommend it for your Memphis visit.
It looks like you are arriving at Wally World when you pull up , but don't let that keep you away from this nice lakeside park. Boat rentals, jet skis, kayaks, water slides and more will keep the whole family happy. Gorgeous setting very close to Nashville.
Small but very cool flight museum with a dozen cool aircraft and informative displays. Highlight: sit in the cockpit of an F4 Phantom II.
It's basic but acceptable for an overnight spot. One bath house was closed and the second was a really long walk. Quiet location and Publix literally next door which is nice.
