WE like this place but they have a couple of small issues. The pet area is great but has no lights for nite visits. The wifi is spotty but they say they are improving. If you work from your rv you will need Starlink wifi.
The pool and rec rooms are great and well maintained. They have pickle ball courts and two pools and rec rooms , one area is adult only and one half is family/ kid oriented { the price is better for family areas}
The price is premium but this park is worth the cost.

The Mountain Valley RV Resort is a great camping option in the Heber Valley. We have camped in the area at Wasatch Mountain State Park and Jordanelle State Park and this is truly a resort experience.

We made advanced reservations and the staff was very accommodating to a change that we needed to make after we initially booked. They were very helpful on the phone and actually guided me in site selection. The site we decided on was different than the one that I would have initially picked and I was happy they helped me make an informed decision. Our check-in process was quick and easy and they guided us to our site and helped us get lined up just right.

The pool was good sized and the hot tub was quite relaxing. The dog area was actually big enough for our dog to chase the ball a bit which was really nice. They have a nice game room with ping-pong and many board game that are all free to use. We also took advantage of the basketball court, playground and putting area.

We meet several other people and families and everybody was very friendly. There are several longer term guests at the park, but everything was well kept and not over cluttered.

If you are sensitive to road noise I would get as far from US-40 as possible. The traffic is not bad, but there are large trucks that frequent that road at all hours of the night. There is also a commercial building with some security lights on the South East corner of the property. If you have blackouts its fine, but if not it could be a bit annoying.

All in all this is a great option if you are looking for a private campground in the Heber area.

This is a very well organized and well run RV resort. The sites are fairly close together, but not right on top of each other, and there's a wide variety of site sizes (and prices) to suit anyone's needs. There's a giant new section that just opened up (May 2017) that has very long and wide sites (all concrete, no grass), while the original section (which is still quite new) has grass and small trees between sites. Both sections have fenced dog parks, but the dog park in the new section is huge. Being a resort, there are pools, hot tubs, a playground, pickleball, etc. It's only a mile or so outside of Heber City and has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The WiFi works pretty well while we were there... not super fast, but fast enough that we could watch the occasional YouTube video without difficulty. Our AT&T was fast, and Verizon had good signal but was a bit slow. We were able to receive both US mail and UPS deliveries at the resort. The only complaint we have is that the sites in our section (P) were unlevel and required several wood blocks under our front wheels and jacks before our levelers could work. If you like RV resorts, this is a great one.

This is an expensive but very nice park. A resort which actually lives up to the name! The park is in a beautiful setting with mountains in the distance. It’s a great location for visiting Heber City, Park City and Sundance. Pleasant and efficient staff. They notify you via email with any news – like unhooking the water if the weather turns cold or that there is fresh made bread (!) for sale. One minor annoyance is the entrance. You have to swipe a card to open the gate and the placement of the card swipe is very awkward. Wide, paved, easy to navigate interior roads. We love that they have an adult only section. There are 2 pools and 2 clubhouses – one in the adult section and one in the other. The clubhouse is beautiful with nice big bathrooms with tile floors and showers. There is a pool table and fireplace in clubhouse. The sites are extra wide and extra long concrete pads. There is plenty of room to park the toad to the side or behind the MH. Decent spacing between sites too. The free WII FI works pretty good most of the time but you can pay to upgrade to faster speeds. One ding, and not their fault, are the dogs in the houses behind the adult section. They tend to have barking frenzies – they sound like hound dogs. Once they start a chorus begins with other dogs and what sounds like coyotes. This was a daily occurrence. We most definitely would return again.

After Boondocking and dry camping most of the last month we decided to treat ourselves. That and we were having a hard time finding free/cheap places that allow dogs- something about taunting the water supply?

This place is great sites are spacious- our gravel back in site was perfectly level (most of the sites are concrete pull throughs but we’re cheap). The WiFi works well and you can pay $5/day to upgrade speed from 3mbps to 15mbps with discount for 1 week and 1 month packages. Our AT&T cell service worked great as well, didn’t check Verizon.

The resort has two pools, two clubhouses, two dog parks (one of each on family area and adults only area) there are also volleyball, pickle ball, basketball and horseshoes and who knows what else we didn’t see. The bathrooms are always clean and each one is a private room with sink/vanity, toilet and shower. The check in area has a small store with RV supplies, souvenirs and snacks but you are also just a few minutes away from town with all your shopping and eating needs.

The place is gorgeous with lush green grass everywhere and mountain views on all sides which were much appreciated after our month in the desert.

While we love Boondocking we could see how it could be easy to get used to this!

This RV park was very big and nicely done. Even with all the snow it was a perfect spot for our sprinter van. There was a large dog area to let our dogs run around after being in the car for hours. The bathrooms were nice but in need of a deep clean. We didn’t use the showers but overall facility was worth the 47 dollars

Barbara, Cache and Matt are amazing and so helpful and accommodating. They worked with us and found a place to store our rv while we went back to Denver to work for a week.

Our arrival went smoothly. We had a reservation made in advance. The staff said that all the spaces were already filled for summer 2019 May through September.

There is a good gym and 2 hot tubs that were open. The laundry rooms were spotless and all the washers worked. They even had washers and dryers dedicated to pet bedding.

Phase 2 is 21 and over. The hot tub back there is huge. That is also where the gym and rec room are.

The WiFi is very fast. You can also pay a small fee and upgrade to even faster WiFi.

There was some noise from the road, but it wasn’t overwhelming.

The library at Heber City was beautiful and not far from here. Well worth checking out.

We were there to ski. It was close to Park City and Deer Valley.

I highly recommend Mountain Valley. We will definitely stay there when we are back in the area.

This is a top-of-the-line RV resort. All of the spaces are cement paved with full hookups. There are a lot of people spend many months at this resort because it is so nice. The rigs that you will see are very nice, nothing is run down. Many high-end motorhomes here. They can accomodate all sizes. There are a lot of activities here like pickleball, pools table, pingpong, etc. They also have two very nice pools and spas. The laundry facility is very nice and clean as are the bathrooms and showers. There is no detail left unconsidered. It is one of the nicest rv resorts that I have ever seen.

If you are looking for no dust, large grass areas, great sites, and great amenities, this is your place. We wanted to stay at Jordanelle State Park up the way but they were sold out so we opted for this RV resort. It is a true resort.

The park requires gate access, the pool is impeccable, the fitness room was very new and the staff was great. The sites were clean, hookups were new and concrete pads were level. The views of the Wasatch Back are very cool, too.

Easy access to Park City, Provo, and even SLC. One of the nicest Wal-Marts down the street, too.

Resort is full level slab parking and pull throughs with excellent facilities and a welcoming staff. An adult section with full amenities was perfect for us and provided a separate pool and recreation amenities. Cabins are available at $119 per night. The $58 fee for RV is worth every penny!
