Confirmed by 7 users | Last reported on June 02, 2022We were checking on places to stay in our rv for a week and very sad that they are immature on dogs. Due to us having 2 very well behaved rescue pittbulls we are turned away from yet another park. I really hope one day that these parks will wake up to the fact that not all animals with an "aggressive breed" are anywhere remotely aggressive. Wake up America!
These couple of bad reviews are giving this parking an unfairly low average rating. I have stayed at hundreds of parks and this is one of the nicest I've been in. It's very very well-maintained, sites are nice and large, the driveways are easy to navigate and there's tons of green space and beautiful big trees everywhere. It's right next to Highway nine but even the sites next to the highway are setback and I did not notice traffic noise overnight. There a playground area is a nice dog run plenty of places to walk your dog and private restrooms with showers. There's also a nice tent camping area if you're traveling light. Oh yeah and there's a pool and hot tub and it's 12 miles to Springdale and Zion national Park. Office is open late I think until 10 PM so if you don't like that online reservation system just call them. I'm a big fan and will definitely be back. @Airstreamin.
One of the nicest parks we have experienced. Clean spacious and well maintained.
We were there one night in for 4th of July. Great facilities but way too hot so we left a day early. The resort had a nice pool and great amenities. We had a site on the edge with no shade and very little space but the inside shaded pull throughs were very nice. We booked too late to get one of those spots due to holiday. Nice folks. About 15 min from Springdale ams park entrance. There is a shuttle from park but it only runs once per day 8am drop and 2pm pickup.
This is a great place to stay. We extended our stay there given our kids liked it so much. Clean, everything available, great pool and very helpful staff.
This is an amazing resort, VERY clean, pool and playground for the kids, river with frogs in the summer and a 7 mile skip into Zion. The staff is very helpful, and if you are feeling lazy, for a very reasonable price, they make dinner.
We plan entire vacations around staying at this resort and can't wait to get back up there again
The employees are always working and keeping the grounds clean. Near Zion National Park and other locations. So much to do and see. Highly recommend this campground Only problem which is probably no fault of theirs is the cable is not the best, but that’s fine with us.

We stayed 7 nights in a Premium Back-in Riverside FHU corner site - booked a year ahead with requested site not guaranteed. Easy access to the resort. Our site was gravel, but most are paved with paved roads throughout. Excellent facilities - laundry $2 wash/$2 dry with coin machine; hot tub and pool, convenience store, several dog runs, playground. We used a hotspot instead of camp wifi. 15 minutes to Zion. 15 minutes to Hurricane for groceries, gas and RV friendly car wash (Red Dirt). The resort is very well managed and maintained. Our friends stayed in Zion Canyon RV Springdale, closer to Zion but not as nice. A++ on location and facilities.

Very happy with my stay here. I booked it online a couple hours before I arrived. I got one of the last few spots available. My spot was level and paved. I took a shower which had a 5 minute intermission between each 7 minute weak spraying of water. Very nice check in progress. Campground appeared relatively new. Not sure what makes it a “Resort” other than the pool and the laundry. They did have a dozen cable stations and very good wireless internet service. Great place to start my day at Zion from.

I was expecting a top rated 10 resort and found a resort in need of landscaping maintenance. Staff told us that our site had lush green grass that was watered on a daily basis and we could not put a welcome mat in front of our motorhome steps because we would kill the grass. The 3 sites we reserved for a family get together were full of weeds, dirt and foxtails and had not been watered in weeks. Staff treated us like fools. Site 20 has an extremely dangerous concrete border that is being uplifted by the tree in site. Our 7 year granddaughter tripped over this dangerous situation. Overall, Zion River Resort has much potential, but, in our opinion, is being mismanaged.
