Fantastic campground to just get away. Very quiet and peaceful with lots of areas to roam around and get into nature without ever having to leave the campground; just what we were looking for. Deer Isle is pretty isolated without a lot of "attraction" type activities, but a perfect place to get some peace and quiet.
Spaces are well spread out and clean.
Utility connections may be in odd locations and vary per site, but they're completely doable.
Water pressure is a little lacking, but again doable and the water quality is pretty darn good.

There are quite a few options for campgrounds on Mt. Desert Island; but Hadley's Point was tucked back off of Hwy 3 and was set just far enough out of town to avoid lots of traffic while still being close enough to access it regularly. It's even better suited if you choose to access other parts of the island besides Bar Harbor.
The campground setup is in "sub-areas", which helps a big campground feel smaller. Section S is the only area with Full Hookups but the "honey wagon" makes the daily rounds to help out those campers with water/elec only. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient to the task, so no worries there.
We were lucky enough to score sight S57, which faces a beautiful wooded area. IMHO this was the best site in section S...so I'm assuming it will frequently be booked. We were able to even access the campground wifi which was very suitable outside (inside was nearly non-existent).
Section C has the kids playground and they're out there from 8am to dark. Nothing too outrageous as kids will be kids.

While ATT does get 1 bar on most of the north end of the island; the service is overall very sketchy. Verizon would be your provider of choice if you have options.

Overall:
- Great campground that distributes its sections
- Within Section S, the spots are pretty much lined up with no separation
- Solid, reliable utilities
- Good open areas & a playground
- Has facilities (although we didn't use).

Beautiful campground set along the tidal marshes and making improvements to utilities. The owners are fantastic and have a gem on their hands. Ground are very well kept and it's location is great to get out and explore Down East.
There are essentially 2 halves to the campground, 1 side nestled in the trees but without septic service, the other fully open (no trees, no windbreak, nothing between sites) with full hookups.
We experience widely varied weather during our stay from cool, foggy days to bright sunny ones. Being out in the open, we could rarely use our awnings as the winds are just too strong for comfort in either case.

We spent a week in the end of Sept 2022. Coming in on Sat, the cg empties on Sunday with new patrons starting to arrive on Thursday. There are a several “seasonal” residents, who are quite settled in.
When entering you pass through a mobile home park which is makes you question if you’re in the right place; there are hardly any signs pointing the way.
The grounds were well maintained; albeit the grass was wearing thin from the frequent visitors at most campsites. The trails provided along the creek were a pleasant treat to take small hikes with the dogs.
Wifi in the CG is excellent but the provided service isn’t enough when they reach half capacity. So bring plenty of downloaded content if you choose.
Randolf is a small community and there aren’t a lot of dining choices nearby, plan accordingly.

Came from NC to see how WV fall colors compare, moving on disappointed. Overall Huntington, WV feels old and tired; people are mostly friendly, and there is litter/trash everywhere.
Beech Fork campgrounds are set off the path so it’s quiet (mostly). The main full hookup area is a parking lot. The other camp areas are spacious sites (50’ across) but only have elec or elec/water. The grounds are maintained, wildlife
Pass thru frequently (leaving their markers). The facilities are sparse at best but do the job (the Moxley facilities are toilets and sinks only, no hot water).
When empty it’s really peaceful and relaxing; you can take leisure walks/hikes on the grounds. Once the families with guitars, kids on elec scooters, golf carts show up all that peace and quiet is gone.
The road into the park is narrow and winding, which helps keep traffic slow but might be tenuous for bigger rigs.
