They have free wifi near the check-in office and are also on the "Island explorer" free bus route.

Stay here in our 35' 5'er. Site vary is size and spacing. In general the B loop are some of the nicer spaces with trees between and long enough to park our truck in front. These sites have only water & electric so account for that in your planning.
This is walking distance from the ocean and close enough to all of Bar Harbor and Acadia to be a prime spot for vacationing. We were there over Columbus Day weekend.

Great proximity to Acadia National Park and to Bar Harbor ME. Great staff. Several loops and each seems to offer a slightly different experience. Our site backed up to trees but was otherwise open. Other loops were wooded.
Lots of campground amenities, open grassy areas for kids to play, pool, is on the free shuttle route that goes into the park.

We stayed here with our family of at that time in 2014, 5 kids and 2 adults. The weather ws only so so but our kids made the most of the playground and the pool. Having laundry onsite was amazing and clean and since its right by the pool, family friendly. The sites were roomy and people very friendly. The park is very crowded at htis time obviously and so you have to expect the campground to be a little noisy. It was not crazy like some holiday parks we have been too but not as quiet as the state and fed run campgrounds either.

Family type campground. Our site was on an end, level and graveled. Back in, 30 amp and water. We had to have the “honey” wagon 4 times while there. $12.00 per dump. Friendly employees. Free WiFi that reached our site. Lots to do in the area. Great place to stay if traveling to Acadia NP. Quiet hours were respected. We would stay again.

There are quite a few options for campgrounds on Mt. Desert Island; but Hadley's Point was tucked back off of Hwy 3 and was set just far enough out of town to avoid lots of traffic while still being close enough to access it regularly. It's even better suited if you choose to access other parts of the island besides Bar Harbor.
The campground setup is in "sub-areas", which helps a big campground feel smaller. Section S is the only area with Full Hookups but the "honey wagon" makes the daily rounds to help out those campers with water/elec only. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient to the task, so no worries there.
We were lucky enough to score sight S57, which faces a beautiful wooded area. IMHO this was the best site in section S...so I'm assuming it will frequently be booked. We were able to even access the campground wifi which was very suitable outside (inside was nearly non-existent).
Section C has the kids playground and they're out there from 8am to dark. Nothing too outrageous as kids will be kids.
While ATT does get 1 bar on most of the north end of the island; the service is overall very sketchy. Verizon would be your provider of choice if you have options.
Overall:
- Great campground that distributes its sections
- Within Section S, the spots are pretty much lined up with no separation
- Solid, reliable utilities
- Good open areas & a playground
- Has facilities (although we didn't use).

We camped in a 19' travel trailer. Hadley’s Point Campground is in a good location for getting around Acadia National Park. We stayed on site B-27. It was gravel and pretty level. We did have to level from side to side a bit. This is a wooded campground. It was sunny in the morning, shady in the evening. This is a nice wide site, backed up to trees. There were tent campers behind us that we could hear but not really see. We were across from a restroom, not a shower. The showers were still within walking distance up by the Camp Office. Restrooms and Showers were rustic but modern and kept clean. The showers are 50 cents for 7 minutes. They were hot right away and stayed hot even with others in use. It was plenty of time for a nice shower. The campground was very quiet after 9:30 pm and no street lights so it was also dark. Great for sleeping. The check in was very efficient and friendly. We originally were going to stay 2 days in Camden State Park on our way to Acadia; however, the state park called us on our way there to say that they had an infestation of brown moth caterpillars whose hairs are poisonous and cause hives that can last from days to weeks and also respiratory problems in some folks. They advised us to make other plans. We very much appreciated the heads up. We decided to go straight to Acadia. We were fortunate in that Hadley’s Point Campground had our reserved site, B27 open and available. We were glad to have the 2 extra days at Acadia.
Although there was no cell service, the campground WIFI worked great at our site.

Lots of space in between sites. E & W only but they do have a honey wagon for $15. Internet here at our spot was really good, like 50 mb/s. Verizon and AT&T still got signal but we gave those a break and opted for the campground WIFI for a change.
They are pretty strict about the 5MPH thing but at the same time the shuttles and work staff speed through here pretty fast. Lots of grandstanding and virtue signaling. Front office staff was nice. Great proximity to Bar Harbor to explore Acadia National Park.
Be sure to make the one hour drive out to Nervous Nellies for an unforgettable experience.

Sites are nicely spaced. Our site would be great in the summer given the amount of shade. Restrooms and showers are basic and clean. We were surprised though that we had to pay for the showers - $0.50 for 7 minutes. WI-FI fairly strong at our site.
Very convenient to the NP entrance and Bar Harbor. We will stay here again if we return to this area of Maine.
