The bath house is nothing too fancy and can be very cold depending on the time of year but it's decent. I love that they have a dumpster but also a ZeroSort recycling bin and even composters for food waste! The train does run pretty close by (and loudly) but not that often. The water pressure was good, they had lots of TV channels and decent WiFi but unfortunately no cell service (at least not AT&T)! Overall it's a great place and hard to beat for the money!

Abel Mountain Campground was nicer than we had expected! Super clean, and (at least on a Sunday night) very, very quiet.
Our site along the river was amazingly level. We slept (in our Class B) with the back doors open and bug screen down... the sky was lighting up from a distant thunderstorm. Beautiful!
The pool was very nice... very clean, and large.
We did not get a chance to hike the nearby trails... we had been exploring waterfalls over on Rt 100 and got here a bit later than we planned.
The staff we dealt with were very nice... being a slower night of the week they were very flexible with which site we took.
WiFi was great, as well.
All in all a great experience, and we expect to return. We think that spring would be wonderful, when there would be more water in the river.

Wow! We love this place in the heart of Vermont. Spacious with a site that backed up to the crystal clear creek with a mountain behind. Water, sewer, 50 AMP, and excellent WiFi. They had us complete the registration online ahead of time, so check-in was super simple. We loved driving around Vermont back roads. They do not allow billboards in the state, so all the forests are all you see. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing is if you come from New York directly from the east be prepared to take some windy two-lane roads.

We were here to judge a BBQ contest our site # 13 was on the water in the corner not to far from the bathrooms. The owners were very nice and the site was pretty level. There was WiFi and cable.

We spent a week in the end of Sept 2022. Coming in on Sat, the cg empties on Sunday with new patrons starting to arrive on Thursday. There are a several “seasonal” residents, who are quite settled in.
When entering you pass through a mobile home park which is makes you question if you’re in the right place; there are hardly any signs pointing the way.
The grounds were well maintained; albeit the grass was wearing thin from the frequent visitors at most campsites. The trails provided along the creek were a pleasant treat to take small hikes with the dogs.
Wifi in the CG is excellent but the provided service isn’t enough when they reach half capacity. So bring plenty of downloaded content if you choose.
Randolf is a small community and there aren’t a lot of dining choices nearby, plan accordingly.

Called ahead asking for a spot to stay for the night and they said they were happy to accommodate us. A bit concerned when we first arrived since you need to pass a permanent trailer park to get to the rv camp, but the camp itself was nice. We travel with a lab, so they set us up on a site that backs up to a stream, which our Piper loved. However, the bathhouse close to didn't have working showers, but with full hookup, it wasn't an issue. The bathroom itself was clean, the sites were level, great wifi, but no screening between sites. Not a problem since we were there mid week and only a few others were there. We would definitely stay again, especially to check out the trails across the river, suppose to be 250 acre trail network!
